Chapter 25: To The Rescue

Cobra groaned softly as he couldn't feel his legs. He was surrounded and tied up.

I can't believe I got beaten up by these kids, he thought. His left eye was shut where his scar was engraved while his right eye stares weakly at the Titans who watched him.

The green boy stepped up, grabbing his black leathered shirt forward nastily, "Alright, talk." he demanded.

Cobra chuckled back, he kept repeating to himself that this wasn't over yet. It's not the time to talk.

"Talk?" he chuckled weakly, "What do you wanna talk about?"

The green titan gripped tightly into his shirt, making him grunt in pain since his body wasn't completely in a good state.

"The kid. Where is she?" he demanded. His lower fang was visibly gritting.

Raven watched Beast boy get the man to talk. She watched him dryly as he demanded roughly. He was willing to keep his promise, alright.

It was still raining, which made it much more difficult to move for Raven. She was completely exhausted, her limbs were about to give in and her skin was filled with scratches and wounds.

"Where is she?" Beast boy growled, his fists tightening on Cobra's leather shirt.

Cobra didn't seem too generous to be giving answers, which made Beast boy bark even louder.

Robin held his shoulder gently, reminding him to calm down.

Beast boy ignored the leader's touch as he grimaced back at the villain's stare. Starfire helplessly stood beside Cyborg's bulky body as she folds her arms in fear.

"Calm down." Robin told the green Titan. Even though Robin had no idea who Zoe was, he wanted Beast boy to calm down and let his anger subdue for a while.

Beast boy's blood was boiling and he knew he wanted answers right away. He morphed into a gorilla as he grabbed the villain with one hand.

Robin and others had shock expressions as they watched the green gorilla one handed the villain a he climbed on a building. Hopping into a tall building, he buried his huge fingers on the creamed walls of the building as he climbed up. Reaching the rooftop, he hauled his bulky arms as he gripped tightly on the villain's neck. Cobra watched below as he sees the ground down. He's going to fall down there, he panicked. He didn't want to die yet.

"Now, talk!" Beast boy threatened. This was a life and death situation for Cobra. Will he tell?

Cobra grunted in pain as the gorilla mercilessly tightens his grip on his neck. He couldn't breathe. He was grasping for air. He was dying. He couldn't feel his throat.

"North Tower! North Tower!" Cobra gave in. He couldn't feel anything. His eyes were about to burst in pain. Cobra struggled as he tries to free himself from the grip. But a normal body like him has nothing against the gorilla's grip. He felt his body weakening. Until everything went black pitched.

Zoe moaned as her eyes slowly flew open. She tried to move but her movements were tied down with ropes. She looked around to find a musty room. She was in a dark room with no lights, the light from the window substituted instead. She felt her head groggy and heavy. She couldn't remember anything. All she remembered was she was knocked out by someone and then dragging her away.

Then, she suddenly heard a noise from outside. Like somebody was outside. The six year old froze in fear as her fists gripped tightly. She wanted to cry, her tears streaming down to her cheeks. This was worst than sleeping alone in a dark room. It was like a monster was coming closer. Afraid, her tears bursted out down to her chin as her cheeks slightly raised up and her lips curved in fear. Then the door was busted open which made a loud defeaning noise. A smoke of dust enveloped the room as it nudges into the metal door. A shadow emerged from outside as it comes into the room where Zoe was tied up. She was afraid and she quiverred helplessly. Her hands that were tied down were shaking. The shadow was coming closer, it was a shadow with a figure of an animal. It wasn't human. Zoe bursted out in tears as she whinned frightfully.
