Dedicated Chapter 2:

Still Saturday

-HANJI-

I walked down the hallway and went to the second floor of the main building. The time is 9:23 so I went straight to the meeting room where Erwin and Moblit are. Some members of the Student Council are also here.

Erwin may be the school principal and Moblit is my laboratory assistant, but they are my best friends. The three of us shared great memories since high school and what's more, we also graduated here. Now we are working at this very school. We talk less formal to each other but still, we are serious with our work.

"Hi Principal Eyebrows! Hi my dear assistant!" I waved to them.

"I thought I said something about bringing the Science Club members along?" Asked Erwin and raised a bushy eyebrow.

"Armin's still calling them." I sat down on a chair and lay my head down on the table. I remembered something.

"Moblit, where are the papers for chemical analysis?" I asked Moblit.

"Almost finished."

"I'll go with you to the lab. I need to get the papers."

At last the students arrived, including Armin. When they were settled down, Erwin started the meeting.

"There will be a science convention next week. We are chosen to do the lectures and workshops. In short, we are in charge for this convention."

The Student Council which was called in advanced by Erwin is there too. Marco, the Student Council President, started asking questions.

"Sir, who will attend this convention?"

"Kindergarten children from different schools. So it's like a kiddie convention."

The students were shocked. Even Moblit and I. Seminars for four or five year old children are a bit uncommon.

"Quiet down, Listen first! The science teachers from those kindergarten schools are going there too. Miss Hanji will be the one to take care of that."

"Me?" I asked.

"Because you're a science teacher and also the Science Department Head of our school as well."

The meeting continued with different questions from the students and instructions from Erwin. All in all, the plan and preparation is as follows:

I will lecture about important lessons that the teachers need to teach, give suggestions how they can encourage their little students to like science

The Student Council will cooperate with the Science Club Officers

Moblit will be the facilitator for hands-on activities and workshops (bad for him, he has to handle those kids)

After the meeting, I went with Moblit and get the papers I needed. I was just about to head back for the library when Armin tapped my back.

"Teacher Hanji you forgot this." He handed the contact card of Ackerman.

"Oh yeah, what are you talking about this man again?" I snatched the card and read, "Levi Ackerman"

Why do I think that I have heard this name once before?

"He's the owner of Racker."

Really?

"The cozy teashop?"
