Dedicated Chapter 28:

Still standing near the arch

-LEVI-

"Levi! Did I miss you out or what?" She asked.

"We came early. I couldn't reply back because my phone is already dead."

Hanji wasn't listening and just walked towards me and beamed another smile past me.

"Isabel! Farlan!" She called out.

I looked behind and saw my friends approaching. They gave me a questioning look.

"It's her. Hanji Zoe."

"Have we met before? Your name sounds familliar." Isabel said.

"It's me Hanji! The one from Three Walls Up and Attack House. I'm a new friend of Levi."

"Ah! The one who asked for picture? I didn't recognize you!" Farlan butted in.

"Really? As in for real?!" Isabel's surprise is evident.

"Well, Levi told me to dress up so I did." Hanji said.

"My, my, you look gorgeous! Right, Brother Levi?" Isabel teased with a nudge.

I glared at her even though she's right. Then I turned to Hanji.

"Passable. Not bad." I muttered without looking at Hanji.

"But it surprised me more that the one Brother's going to introduce to us is you." Isabel darted me a look.

"So, did you also know that we're friends of Levi?" Farlan asked.

"Yes. Actually, Levi first told me about you when I saw a picture of you three. Levi told me your names but I forgot all about it when I met you at Three Walls Up. I only remembered when Levi reminded me after I showed the selfies from the cafe."

"Okay. I see. So, he hasn't told you that the three of us used-" Farlan started which I cut off.

"No. She doesn't know."

I don't want them to take long with formalities so I decided to butt in.

"Listen, these two are my childhood friends, Isabel Magnolia and Farlan Church. Both animal doctors. Engaged." I said to Hanji then turned next to my friends.

"This Four Eyes is our high school batchmate. Now working as science teacher there in PCHS."

"Woah! Batchmates?! Seriously?! From what class? Who are your friends? Who's the principal now?" Isabel questioned Hanji.

"Ahahaha! I'm from class 1. Most of my friends back then are also teaching there now with me and one of them is actually the current principal. Erwin Smith. He was the Student Council President back then."

"Oh... That guy..." Farlan murmured with great sentiment, which I understand.

"You know Erwin? How did you come to know him?" Hanji asked and looked not only at them but also me.

"I'll let Levi explain." Farlan replied.

"Yeah. It's better if he's the one who will do the long talk. Come on, Bro. Tell her while we walk back to the carnival. Tell her all if you like."

I stared at them. I was actually fine with finally letting her know what's our connection to Erwin but just like Isabel said, it's a long talk.

From him saving us from being investigated by the school in exchage of our service and up to the part when he became our manager unofficially.
