Dedicated Chapter 13:

Friday night

Fine. I admit it. I did eavesdrop.

I only did it because I thought there's something wrong with them. When I heard about Erwin, my ears picked up and when I entered the kitchen, it bothered me so I eavesdropped.

Isabel and Farlan are still missing in action, Levi. Why do you keep on being nosy about others?

*vibration of phone

I looked at my phone to see a message which was sent by Petra.

"We found their current residence. A rental house near the old city hall. All of us will accompany you. I hope they are really there."

I hope so too.

They are all helping me. Petra, Oluo, Eld, and Gunther helped me in asking people around. Probably, they even used their connections to gather information. And now we have a lead. I have so much to thank them for.

"Thank you very much." I replied.

"You're always welcome. And we're just doing all what we can to help."

"We will come to your house at 8:30 am." She added.

"Fine. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

I sent a message to one of my employees to take charge for tomorrow and that I'll be gone for a whole day. After sending other instructions, I made myself a cup of tea. Then I drank it while looking out my window inside my room.

Tsk. I know that it's still early and I also know that I will get even lesser sleep. All because of my insomnia.

When I looked at the clock, it was only 10:05 pm. If I could, I would have turned this night into morning in no time. With nothing to do in particular, I walked to my table and grabbed the picture of us three. I sat and held it close to me.

Please be there. Isabel, Farlan, I want to say sorry for everything.

I woke up really early so I decided to do some of my paperworks. Then I took my daily dose of exercise. The time is still a little early, 6:30 am. I rested for a while before eating breakfast.

Still not enough to kill off my time.

I cleaned the dirty areas in my house then took a bath. When I finished dressing up, I prepared refreshments for my friends. Within thirty minutes they might arrive.

While waiting for them, I told my employee to update me every 2 hours.

*knock knock

They are here already? But the time is only 8:22!
