Chapter 21: Welcome to Mystic Falls

"No!" Bridget shouted. She stopped in her tracks as Monahan pulled the trigger. She put her hands up to her face as they were with blood.

"What's black and white and red all over?" Dean joked. Sam gave him a look.

"What are we supposed to do now?" Elena asked.

"Are those people you healed still alive?" Caroline asked.

"Yes. Otherwise we wouldn't be talking to each other." The Doctor said.

"What's happening now, Doctor?" Clara asked.

"It's not good..."

"Should we run?" Sam asked.

"Where?" Damon replied.

"Can we do anything to help fix it?" John asked hopefully.

"Based on the information that I've acquired, both you, Doctor, a Time Lord, a humanoid alien species, and you Castiel, an angel of The Lord have the ability to travel through the vortex of time." Sherlock said.

"That would be correct." The Doctor replied.

"We can bend time on occasion, but the farther back I go, the harder it is to bring you back." Castiel replied.

"So you're saying that they should combine the power of a Son Of God and a TARDIS?" Bridget asked.

"Not really the same with a TARDIS." The Doctor said. "Yes that's it!"

"What are we going to about the Primer dorks outside?" Dean asked.

"Wait, can I see?" Bridget asked, walking over to the Winchesters.

"See what?" They chimed.

"I want to see if you still have it." Bridget said, rolling up Dean's sleeve, expecting the Mark of Cain, a scar-like pattern on Dean's arm given to him by the demon Cain so he could use the First Blade, the only way to kill a knight of Hell. There was nothing there.

"You got rid of it?" Bridget asked.

"Yep." Dean replied, pulling down his sleeve.

"Good." Bridget said with a smile.

"Basically, we should go to the TARDIS." The Doctor said.

"We'll hold 'em off." Bridget said.

"Bridget, they'll kill you." Sam said.

"C'mon! I've got Team Free Will with me." Bridget said with a smile. Sam and Dean chuckled.

"Team Free Will, you remember that?" Dean asked, trying to remember exactly what he had said.

"'One ex-blood junkie, one dropout with six bucks to his name, and Mr. Comatose over there, it's awesome.' Yeah, everyone remembers." Bridget replied.

"Well I was right. It's awesome." Dean said. "Yeah, you guys go."

"You need to be in the TARDIS. Something could happen." The Doctor said.

"We'll guard you, then." Bridget said.

"Alright then. What are waiting here for?" Clara said. ***

There was a Primer in the hall who tried to block them. Sam and Dean showed him their guns and the Primer backed off. A second one came behind Bridget. He had her by the throat. She elbowed him hard in the stomach and hit him in the head with the handle of her angel blade. It knocked him out. Sam looked behind him. They were almost at the TARDIS when two Primers appeared behind them.

"Go!" Sam shouted, urging them to go faster. When they got inside the TARDIS, Sam closed the doors as quickly as he could.

"Doctor, how are you going to fix this? This is the end of the world!" Clara asked worriedly.

"I've watched it happen before. Almost." The Doctor replied, turning a knob. "Castiel, I may have an idea of how you can help."

"How can I be of help to you?" Castiel asked. ***

A bright, blinding light err uptrend from the center of the console. The Winchesters looked at each other and realized they were standing on grass. Bridget and the others weren't there.

"Where are we?" Dean asked, looking around at the thin, tall pine trees. The woods were cool, moist and smelled of pine.

"I don't know." Sam said with a worried look. He looked at the path behind them. It was dirt that stretched down a hill and was dotted with grass. He walked down the path, his shoes crunching on the dead pine needles until he was standing at the top of the hill and he looked down. His brother was ahead of him, stopped in front of a sign.

"Well, Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore." Dean said, looking at the sign. Another light erupted and Damon was standing there.

"Where are we?" Damon asked walking over to where the Winchesters were standing.

"You're home." Sam said, looking at the tan sign that read Mystic Falls.
