Chapter One: Two Hunters, an Angel and a Fez
With crashes of thunder and lightning, up it went. A pillar of light, like a column burst up towards the sky. No one in our world could have see this. This was in a universe. UniversES. Alternate ones, which have walls that separate each alternate world from the other.
The tall pillar of light shot up, piercing the sky. It swept across every sky in every alternate universe. It looked like a ripple that turned the sky iridescent. The walls that separated the universes had fallen.
In his TARDIS, the Doctor and Clara, his companion tried to keep steady. They tried to stay standing as the TARDIS thrashed about. The TARDIS was experiencing a multitude of turbulance the Doctor hadn't seen before. They weren't in space or in the time vortex. The Doctor knew that for sure. Straightening his bowtie, the Doctor tried to take control of his TARDIS. "Come on, sweetheart." He told his TARDIS softly, fingering the console.
"Woah!" The Doctor exclaimed.
"What is it?" Clara, the Doctor's companion asked. "What's happening?"
The Doctor looked at the dark-haired girl wondering if he should tell her. If we're lost, she might as well know where she isn't. He thought.
"We were in the time vortex and then we just... left."
"WHAT?"
The Doctor sighed, knowing it would worry her. "We aren't in the time vortex OR space! This is VERY new for me! Exciting yet TERRIFYING!" The Doctor said with a chuckle, almost toppling over as the TARDIS shook, sparks flying from the console.
"Well where are we then?!?" Clara shouted over the crashing of the outside of the TARDIS.
"I DON'T KNOW!" The Doctor shouted.
The TARDIS had been in the time vortex, which contains a lot of energy as the walls of the universes came down. All that power blew the TARDIS somewhere else, landing it on a bubble of enrgy, like force or air. A place where four alternate universes would meet. The only way for that to happen is if they happen to be traveling. The TARDIS had landed. From the point it was, the TARDIS had hit the energy bubble at the bottom so hard that Clara and the Doctor fell into a black slumber. Luckily, the energy bubble just stopped the TARDIS from moving and when it popped it landed normally which couldn't be heard. Just seen...
Dean was listening to "You Shook Me All Night Long" by ACDC when a blue box came down with a hard thud, like it han landed on air and then hit the street corner. Dean stepped on the breaks with the dust from the dirt road following behind them. Dean knew it just appeared. From where?
"What the...?" He steered the Impala to the side and turned off the music. Getting out, the keys jingled as Dean pocketed them. He stared at the box in frontof him and poked Sam. "Sam is that the box? You know from that British show you used to watch?"
"Doctor Who?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, with the phone box?"
"TARDIS." Sam corrected his brother.
"Nerd." Dean mumbled.
"Did you hear it make the sound?"
With the flap of wings, Castiel appeared. He seemed a bit confused.
"Damn it, Cas!" Dean mumbled, startled by his friend.
Looking at the blue wonder that read "Police Box", Castiel approached the 1960's poilce telephone booth with enchantment. He walked closer to it, Dean and Sam following his trenchcoat's tails. "This..." He tried to think of the name. "whatever the name, it's like it's alive somehow."
"Cas, could this be the TARDIS?" Sam asked, trying to conceal his excitement.
Standing a few feet from the Phone Box's handle, Castiel bent to look at the bottom of the door with his blue tie touching the ground. "I don't know." Castiel replied. "I've never heard of a TARDIS."
"How do you know it's alive?" Sam asked.
"The same way I know you're alive. I'm an angel, I can see living souls, not faces. This is teeming with it. There is no possibility this is an ordinary London phone booth. Besides being alive it's odd."
"Odd how?" Dean asked.
With his friends following him, he told them that the device wasn't made on Earth or in Heaven or Hell. They heard the creak of doors. They turned to see a young, brown-haired man, Castiel's vessel's size wearing a bow tie and a long purple coat that touched right below his knees.
"I'd say it's because it's big." The man said with a smile in a British accent. "It's the biggest thing you'll ever see."
"What the hell?" Dean said, trying to figure out how he was in there unoticed.
"Who are you talking to?" A British female asked. She sounded a few feet away, which was odd for a 6ftx8ft phone booth.
Sam and Dean traded looks of confusion. Castiel just stared at the man and tilted his head in confusion. Sam and Dean, Castiel following behind came closer. They could see a green glow coming from inside the phone booth.
"Who are they?" She asked.
They couldn't see all of her, but they could see she had brown hair and brown eyes. Sam could see that it clearly wasn''t a telephone box. There was metal and lights.
"I don't know." He replied. "One of them clearly knows when it's bigger on the inside." He said quietly, turning to her.
"Which one?" She asked.
Sam and Dean traded soulful looks. Dean gave Sam a shrug. The man glanced at the girl and they stepped outside. He pulled, even though the sign said PULL TO OPEN, the doors closed.
"Alright, I'll start off first the man announced.
They could see the girl clearly now. She was wearing a short sleeved dress with a circlular collar and black boots. Her straight hair was down.
"I'm the Doctor." the man said.
