Chapter 13: Benefits to Having a Fangirl

Bridget forced herself to keep her eyes open as she ran. She dodged blue laser beams from the Daleks as she ran, hand in hand with one of her favorite heroes of all time, the Doctor. The Doctor kept her in front of him, protectively as the others ran in front of them.
The next thing she knew, the Doctor let go of her hand and closed the doors, and smiled with relief. She knew that creaking sound of the doors all too well. She looked up and she tried to make the reverse lettering above the door.
"Police Box." Bridget read.
"Here we go." Damon mumbled.
"Oh my God I'm in the TARDIS! I'm in the TARDIS, not the fake one at last ComicCon but the real one wow..."
"Yep, she's the real one." The Doctor said proudly.
"She's a beautiful TARDIS, Doctor." "Why, thank you." The Doctor said, smiling.
"Are you okay, Bridget?" Elena asked.
"I guess. You know, you guys don't know how awesome you are."
"What do you mean?" Clara asked.
"You are the heroes. The real modern day Sherlock Holmes, the best detective the work ever knew with his best friend John Watson and their unbreakable bond. The real vampires from Mystic Falls. With his lover the real Dean. The real Sam and Dean Winchester, the best Hunters I know with the world's guardian angel, Castiel..."
The Doctor smiled and gently patted the console. Sherlock and John exchanged glances, and even Sherlock smiled proudly. Sam, Dean, Castiel smiled. Then Dean looked at Castiel and Bridget with alarm.
"Lover?" Dean asked, confused.
Bridget looked embarrassed and finally fell silent. She shipped Destiel, but she was unsure of telling Dean and Cas what it was. The phone on the console rang.
"Hello?" The Doctor answered, cooly. "Yes, this is the Doctor- I said THE Doctor- okay. Yes, I know about the random appearing people. Yes, I'm trying to fix it. What color eyes?"
Sam Castiel, and Dean looked at each other with alarm. Bridget looked eagerly at the trio. Demons usually black eyes but they can also be yellow or red.
"Black?" The Doctor sounded confused. "I don't think that's-"
"Doctor, we're going there." Bridget demanded.
"Well on that note," The Doctor said, awkwardly. "Geronimo."
*****
"He said Geronimo." Bridget whispered to herself.
"Where are you from, Bridget?" Clara asked.
"Florida." Bridget answered.
"Do you have any injures?" Castiel asked, hoping to get this girl thinking of something but the trauma she had just experienced.
"None that you can heal." Bridget replied.
"I think this girl needs a little adventure." John said.
"Based on the looks of it, I'd have to agree." Sherlock said.
"Come see what it's like to be a hero." Clara said, holding Bridget's hand.

"It's World War III already?" Gabriel said, looking at the destruction the Daleks had created.
"You said they were here." Balthazar said.
"They were. What the hell happened here?" Gabriel asked, staring at half of the guard rail dented and far from the steps.
"I think we have a witness." Balthazar said, healing the girl lying on the ground.
"Balthazar? Gabriel? Hi, I'm... I'm Jess." Jess said.
"Are they still here? Did you fix it? Are they still coming?" Jess asked.
"Who's coming?" Gabriel asked.
"Daleks, demons..." Jess replied.
"Thank you, Jess." Balthazar replied.
"Nice meeting you guys." Jess said.
Balthazar have her a smile. Gabriel and Balthazar flew away. Jess smiled back and fell back, dead.

The Winchesters stood by the TARDIS doors with caution. Sam's hand was on his demon knife, a hunting knife with writing carved onto the blade that can kill demons. Dean and Castiel were holding angel blades, that can, as well kill demons. Bridget eyed them curiously.
"I've got your back, guys." Bridget said, flipping her braid behind her back. "I've seen this before."
"No, you stand back." Sam instructed.
"I'm nothing like Becky*, she tied you to a bed and she was frightening. I know what I'm doing." Bridget walked over to Dean, got an angel blade from his hand, and walked off so smoothly, that Dean was impressed. "This is how a girl does it."
"I'll watch over her." Castiel said, disappearing.
"Well that's freaking super." Dean said.
"We should follow her." Sam said.
"Yeah." Dean agreed.
Castiel flew to Bridget. Bridget turned to see Castiel and she smiled. She turned towards the TARDIS, which was only a few feet away.
"Hey, Cas." Bridget greeted him sweetly.
"Hello, Bridget." Castiel replied.
"Are you guys coming or what?" Bridget called. "Hey, Cas, do I remind them of Becky at all?"
"Becky?" Castiel looked at her, confused.
"Okay, good." Bridget said.
"Thank God." Sam whispered, coming out of the TARDIS.
"Oh my, God. Is this her?" Bridget asked Dean.
There she was, parked next to the sidewalk waiting for him. She had been yearning for the next adventure, the next great getaway, the next fast rescue. His Impala. And she welcomed him.
"Yep." Dean answered proudly.
"She's gorgeous." Bridget breathed.
"Is this the '67 you were talking about?" Damon asked.
"Yeah." Dean said.
"I drive a classic." Damon said. Classics are sweet."
"I know." Dean replied.
"I'm thinking we should find some demons." Bridget said.
"Demons?" Elena asked.
"Demons from down there?" Caroline asked.
"Yep. Those bastards." Bridget replied.
"So let me get this straight, you two Hunt demons?" Clara asked.
"They Hunt ghosts, gouls, the greatest hits, anyone who is killing people that cops can't arrest." Bridget said. "That came out wrong, but you know what I mean."
"Pretty much, yeah." Sam said.

"We've seen things your greatest nightmares wouldn't touch." Dean said.
"Nice, lovely." John said.

"So, why don't we hunt some demons?" Bridget asked, leaning against the Impala. Hersmile all of a sudden faded and the she collapsed onto the floor a=in pain.

"Woah, woah hey!" Dean ran over to Bridget who moaned in pain. Dean glanced back at Castiel who stood as till as a statue. He looked afraid? No, not of her. Of something. It was guilt.

* Becky: She was introduced in 5x01 of Supernatural. Shehad read "Carver Edlund" 's books, Supernatural which were about Sam and Dean's entire lives (everything shown on the show) and was an obsessed fangirl. She got Sam and Dean to come to the Supernatural convention (5x09: "The Real Ghostbusters"), hit on him numerous times married and tied Sam to a bed so he wouldn't leave (7x08 "Season 7, Tine for a Wedding"). She even was writing fanfiction about them.
