Chapter 14: Demon-fighting trio?

"Are you alright?" John asked.

"My head hurts like I just got hit in the head with a hammer. It's like I was remembering something, but I didn't."

"We're Hunting a demon? Like the ones from Hell?" John asked.

"Yep." Sam replied.

"Dean, the men standing by the wall are demons." Castiel said, pointing.

"You can see that?" Caroline asked.

"Angels don't see faces, they see souls." Bridget explained.

"Lovely." Clara replied.

"When you were getting ready, I looked you up on the TARDIS database and there's books called Supernatural." The Doctor said.

Dean and Sam looked at each other and gave a look. Sam sighed.

"Supernatural, the story of the greatest Hunters who ever lived, written from the visions of the prophet Chuck." Bridget explained.

"Prophet?" Damon asked. "Like in the Bible?"

"We're also Hunting demons, like in the Bible." Bridget replied.

"Are you sure they're demons?" Caroline asked.

"Cristo." Bridget shouted. They flinched and their eyes turned black. "Pretty sure they're demons."

"What are you going to do, walk up to them and ask them what their doing there?" Damon said.

"That's the plan." Dean replied.

"You don't have anything on you, how are you going to defend yourselves?" Elena asked.

"We're always armed." Dean replied, showing her the canteen with the cross on it, filled with holy water, his angel blade and the demon handcuffs. *

"Mind if I join you?" Dean asked the demons with a smirk.

"Winchester." One spat, the two of them turning their eyes black again.

"What are you guarding? Is it something cool?" Dean asked.

"None of your business." The second demon spat.

"None of my business?" Dean replied, chuckling as he took out the angel blade he had in his jacket, his face becoming serious. "I've been needing to find out some things on the Primer Society, and since you've been near Primers, start talking."

"You kill us, all the nice thoughts of Primers go as well." The first demon sneered.

"There's something I know about demons," Bridget said, walking up behind Sam and Dean. "and that is they know everything their meat suit knows."

"And the meat suit remembers the possession." The first demon said.

"She's a feisty one." The first demon said, smiling.

"What's your name, sweetheart?" The second demon asked.

"Bridget Kay and you're disgusting." Bridget replied with a frown. "Can you tell us about the Primer Society or do I have to get creative with this?"

"If you hurt us, the Primer in here would have one more reason to end all of you." The first one taunted.

"If they are demons from the Bible, then perhaps we should exorcise them." Sherlock suggested.

"If the Primer Society doesn't know we're here, we can surprise them when we do and they won't be as guarded." Bridget suggested.

"I doubt a demon would win an honesty award." Damon said. He wouldn't win one, either. He had done some lying in the past, but he wouldn't lie to Elena anymore.

"Doctor..." Clara said, catching his facial expression. "Doctor, you thought of something."

"I can sometimes go into people's minds; see their memories, share mine." The Doctor answered. "They usually have to open their minds to me."

Sam and Dean looked at each other with surprise. Bridget looked at them and back across the street at the Doctor.

"Even if the human has a charred human soul controlling them?" Bridget asked with worry. "Doesn't it hurt you?"

"If I can take my time and I'm only looking in their mind, no." The Doctor replied.

"Good luck." Elena said.

"Thanks, Elena." The Doctor replied, with a smile.

"He'll be fine." Damon said, giving her a peck on the cheek. "I have a good feeling."

"I know." Elena replied, fingering his ring. She thought of when she first met him, sophomore year in Mystic Falls. Right before her parents died. He helped her figure out the kind of love she wanted. She could still hear the words.

"You want a love that consumes you. You want passion, and adventure and even a little danger."*

She blinked snapping into the present. Sam shook the Doctor's hand.

"Be careful." Sam warned. "Demons are sneaky and unpredictable."

The Doctor nodded. He walked over to the demon and placed his hands on the first demon's head. "Are these handcuffs?"

"You wouldn't want them to fling you at a wall." Bridget replied.

"Oh." The Doctor replied.

The Doctor placed his hands on the demon's head again and concentrated. He opened his eyes, looking uneasy. He lifted his hands off of the demon's head, looked at the door in front of them and nodded.

"Oh I almost forgot." Dean said, almost opening the door.

"Right." Sam agreed, facing the demons.

"Can I do it?" Bridget asked.

"Sure." Sam said.

*Demon handcuffs are metal handcuffs that have a symbol carved into them to prevent them from smoking out (leaving the person their possessing).

*Sam had visions of people before they died as a result of the demon Azazel feeding him his blood as a baby. The visions were shown in season two and ended when Azazel "Yellow Eyes" died.
