My lips slowly ghosted the delicate skin of Camila's neck, her hair strung up in a messy bun. It was the perfect opportunity. She let out a satisfied hum, her hands holding mine against her bare stomach. Currently, the Latina laid on top of me, my arms tangled around her petite waist. We were engulfed from our shoulders down in hot water– rose petals scattered, candles, the whole thing. The steam slowly arose around us, wafting its comforting heat against our skin, releasing the tension in our muscles but not the tension between us. "Merry Christmas, baby..." I whisper, my eyes slowly shutting as I took in the faint smell of Camila's shampoo.

"Merry Christmas," she breathed out. Releasing one of my hands, she brought one of her arms to sling under my chin and against the far side of my head. Her fingers gently scratched at my scalp, her eyes peering over at me. "I love you," she whispered, a soft smile etched on her lips.

Fluttering my eyes open, I met her hazel brown eyes and grinned. Those words never ceased to send a great amount of warmth throughout my body. "I love you too," I replied. With a loving sigh, Camila slowly leant in until our lips brushed against one another. This moment was slow. It was sensual– a dream. A dream of lust and love and everything in-between. Eventually, it lead to her chest pressed against my own. Our lips were thorough with one another's, exploring the depths of our mouths– every crevice and weakness. My fingers delicately caressed the dimples on her lower back, trailing up the bottom of her spine, to her neck, then to her cheeks.

[15 HOURS EARLIER]

"Dinah, I told you to buy the snacks last night! Did you forget?" Camila exasperated, obviously in distress that her best friend completely forgot to buy a necessity for the Christmas party they planned to throw that night.

Dinah just grinned at the smaller girl, her arms crossed as she watched the other pace around the condo. In every nook and cranny, it'd be hard to not notice a small ornament or a piece of Christmas placed there. Hell, it was like Christmas was an actual person and just barfed all over the living space. "Waltz, relax. This party is always the best every year. Everybody will love what it offers, no matter how many trashy elves or the disgusting amount of diet eggnog you buy."

"Wow, thanks D," Camila retorted, sending a playful glare to the Polynesian who rose both of her hands beside her head, a shrug dancing along her shoulders.

"Hey, I was just being honest!" Dinah defends.

Camila just hums in response and grabs her purse, slinging it over her shoulder while taking ahold of her car keys. "I'll be back. If anybody calls, asking if they need to bring anything, like gifts, tell them to just bring themselves. Please," she tells Dinah. The taller girl reluctantly nods and watches as Camila closes the door behind her. She leans against the kitchen counter, releasing a sigh as she peered around the place, a small look of disgust on her face. Obviously, the look of Christmas was too overdone. It was Camila being Camila after all, and as much as Dinah loved the girl to pieces, having more than one Santa statute was one too many. And so? She went to work, safely putting away a few items here and there.
