Slim P.O.V

Today just wasnt what i expected , Alicia was cheating on me. I dont even know whether this baby is mine, she kept calling my phone while i helped cook. Laurens mom kept insisting that i should pick up and see what she had wanted. She finally called again, i sat in the living room and picked up.

Alicia: Baby ! Im so sorry. Today just wasnt what you thought, Slim im so sorry.

Slim: Nah Alicia...im not getting played.

Alicia: I swear i wont play you. On my moms.

Slim: I gotta go, see you.

I hung up and sighed covering my face with my hands. Lauren then came and sat next to me, it was an awkward silence but she then broke it.

Lauren: youre gonna go back to her arent you?

Slim: No...

Lauren: Please dont make me look stupid for doing all that for you when all youre do is go back to her.

Slim: I wouldnt do that to you.

Lauren: Oh well wanna come to church with us this sunday?

Slim: God dont like me.

Lauren: God needs people like you to make things better.

I looked at her and smiled, she bit her bottom lip smiling her dimples were deep.

Slim; Alright ill come.

Lauren: yay. then after we could go have lunch somewhere. Just you and I my mom will take care of the girls.

Slim: I hear you.

Her mom then calls from the other room saying dinner was ready. We all sat down, the food looked amazing.

Bianca: Slim you say grace.

Slim: May we please all close our eyes and bow down our head? Our heavenly father Lord i thank you for this wonderful day, as we're about to recieve this food i pray that you bless it. In Jesus name we pray with thanksgiving we pray Amen.

The food tasted amazing, the warm macaroni and chesse melting softly in my mouth. After dinner Lauren and I did the dishes while her mom and the girls went to go find a movie at redbook to watch.

Lauren: You okay?

Slim: Yeah why you ask?

She moved closer to me and put her head on my chest.

Lauren: You just seem sad. I love you....
