"What are they talking about?" I asked the gryphon. "Old and ancient language, although we do not know what it is" he explained. The elder tree ordered Darryl to set foot on the center of the circle. The little creatures who were at the sides of the ritual room stopped murmuring. "This'll be easy, right?" Darryl asked. "Only if you survive" the elder tree spoke. Darryl's eyes looked like they widened from what he heard. "Max, this was not part of the plan!" but before neither he or I could continue, the circle began to glow. Darryl hesitated and he clumsily fell down. The elder tree waved it's branches in mid-air while chanting something. I watched from the distance with the gryphon. The lights turned off and the candles lit inside were the only ones left illuminating the room. The small hooded creatures started to chant again.

Lime and green particles swirled and sparked on the elder tree's branches and they were blasted out and onto Darryl's body. I raised my hand in front but the gryphon in front of me declined. So I just stared and watched as Darryl received a humongous load of green energy. The beam stopped and the candles were blown off. Darryl started to emit a small green light. The light shimmered even more brighter then before and he exploded in it. There were smoke everywhere and the lights turned on again. The gryphon flapped it's wings and the smoke was whisked away. Darryl's previous form was changed away and now what stood in front f us had the same appearances as the elder tree. "The transformation was complete" the elder tree exclaimed. Darryl examined to what he had or what he was. Darryl was composed out of mossy wood but it seemed like it was gonna be a few years until he'd be covered in termites. He had sharp branch for melee attacks on his right arm extending to his hand.

On his other hand is equipped with a large opening that smelt like burning wood and asphalt. "So Darryl, can you understand us now?" I asked him. But before he could even speak. He clasped his face where his mouth was and he panicked. He was touching his wooden face all over and his big eye holes with no eye balls. "Hey, hey" the gryphon caught Darryl's attention, "Treants don't have eyeballs, dip shit". Darryl stopped to what he was doing and he blurted, "Why not?". He then covered his mouth where it was before, "What the-?". "Yeah, feel free to change back" the gryphon reminded him then he walked out of the room. "Change back? Change back!? How do I do it?! I wanna change back and this...form is really itchy!" he complained. I quickly sped in front of him then I slapped his face. "Get it together, rookie" I slapped him twice. He straightened up a bit I told him to listen very close to me. "Focus to what you were before and you can change back" I said.
