"Good, god,  Max. You might as well try not to threaten our soldiers" a voice spoke as the two statues' drew off their swords then returned back to their positions. The elder gryphon was there or at least that's what I call him. I quickly hid Darryl as the back of my spread wings and I told him to shut it. He was just in time before he saw the both us whispering. "Oh, it's you again. Care to tell me how you do that" I crossed my arms with disappointment. "Well-" he stopped, "Why are you're wings spread out like that?" he pointed at my wings that felt really sore. "I-Well, that's nothing. Anyways, I came back to train some more" I convinced him and also me acting like I was punching something. "*sigh* Very well" he turned back and also flying back to the Fortress.

I then turned to Darryl who was just standing behind me. "You're lucky he bought my excuse" I frowned. "I wasn't asking for any cover" he complained. "And I wasn't telling you to die this early" I talked back, Let's just go". Sure enough, Darryl was just really lucky. Anyways, we got back to the Fortress and I had to fly Darryl over to it since neither any of the creatures had the nerve fixing the draw bridge.

"I this it?" he asked while gazing at the really empty and dark interior of the castle. "Not just that" I smiled,"Elwin!". I didn't know if he was here or not but I know he hangs out in this part of the Fortress if there are any people getting inside. "Who are you talking to?" Darryl asked me. I turned back to walk to Darryl but then I heard gunshots then I zipped away from the direction of the fired bullets with me carrying Darryl. I let go of Darryl and I turned to face to what that was. Elwin was just there standing in front of us holding a weird kind of gun from wooden branches and stone. "Okay, that's weird gun from sticks and stones" I pointed at his gun where he also looked at it. "Max, just stay back I gotta kill this human, it's dangerous!" he shouted while still pointing the gun on his hands directly aimed at Darryl.

"Whoa, Whoa, Elwin, stop stop. It's cool, Darryl's just puny" I calmed him down. "Hey!" Darryl shouted. "Well..not yet, I mean" I clarified. Elwin still wasn't convinced by convincing words and held his woodland gun at Darryl. "Elwin, Elwin, you gotta chill. You think puny 'ol Darryl could hurt you?" suddenly Darryl punched me at my arm really hard. I let out a soft squawk not to alert Erwin but he saw Darryl do it anyways. "See! I freakin' told you" he said.
