Aero Flight: Ascending Skies

What's with all the form changing?

The creature pounced on Ev first but before it could land a claw on her, Darryl shot a cannonball right at his face then pounced on him, scratching his wooden chest again. I stepped back then put my hand forward while the wings moved to my side, It's main and big feathers flew like missiles, turning into sharp metal spikes or blades. The small blades zoomed towards the creature, injecting on the creature's skin or hide. At one point, a flashing light blinded our eyes for a second and the creature we were battling turned into something that stood on it's hind legs and had spikes all over it somehow. "What the-" Ev surprisingly said. The creatures pounced at me, ripping off most of my feathers off of my wings then Elwin shot bullets from his two guns. The bullets seemed more effective at this kind of phase as it's skin melted like it was acid. The creature prowled near him then ripped a bit off of his hoodie before he could fire again. Ev pulled out another kick on it's face.

 It suddenly wailed right at her face then Darryl nudged it with his blaster then a wide slash. Poison sludge dripped from his blade then the creature turned into another form. Now, it has the same physique as a saber tooth except it's mouth is all the on it's neck. It yawned, showing us all it's sharp and slobbery teeth then the cut mark just healed off on it's own. "Crap" Darryl stood in fear. The creature jumped then grabbed Darryl on it's mouth swaying from left to right. Elwin shot more bullets towards it. The creature spat out Darryl at Elwin hitting him and knocking him back. "Max!" Ev shouted. She put her hands together downwards like she wanted me to do something and she nodded.

 I quickly ran towards Ev's hands that's lowered a bit and when my one foot stepped on it, she suddenly raised it up then I swooped downwards on the creature, clawing on it's face. I stepped back, trying to get some got focus. Darryl stood up slathering poison on his branch on his head and Elwin mounting more ammo on his guns. I nodded and Darryl made the first move. He ran towards it and as he was just about to impale it, it turned into another form. A form that had a slender body that stood on it's two hind legs as well. Two claws for hands and demonic like wings. It doesn't have a mouth but it's looks like it's just been drawn on it's face. It growled then phased through Darryl like a ghost. "What the-" Darryl pondered.
