"Yo! What the heck!" Elwin cheered, "That took intensely long, guys". "Hell it did, man!" Darryl exclaimed. "That was extremely excellent, all of you" the siren slithered towards us. Everybody gathered together at the circle in a line while the beats sat down together on their thrones. "Hey, who's that other one sitting down on the fifth throne" Ev whispered in my ear as the other feathers on my shirt fell. "I don't exactly know" I responded lightly. We faced the beasts who were on the throne. They congratulated us for our bravery in what we were dealing with last time. "Yeah, but can you tell us what we were fighting back there" I interrupted them. The gryphon seemed interested to what I was asking. "That Max, was a mimic" he explained. "A mimic?" Darryl asked with suspicion. His hair still had some left over leaves and a bit of sludge. "A mimic can turn into any creature but it's transformation is only limited" the elder tree spoke. "Why don't we see more of them?" I asked.

 The gryphon sighed then stood up off of his throne then he stared out through the sunny skies. "There is no more of their kind" he said with a tone of disappointment. "A mimic, Max, isn't anywhere near any creature kind. For it is the end bringer, Hyde!" the elder tree spoke in a loud a prophetic like voice. "You're saying we fought that old person?!" I scratched my head. "Who's Hyde?" I overheard Darryl whispering to Elwin. "Roberton Hyde is the one who almost wiped us off of extinction" Elwin quietly explained. "Hyde has almost a complete formula of turning into many predators of our kind. Predators that we have no knowledge of" the siren uttered. "Predators that might easily kill us" the fairy elf added. "So, what are we all gonna do now?" Ev interrupted all of us. The gryphon then turned to us. "Better question yet, who the hell are you?" the gryphon bellowed against Ev. "And why do you care" Ev frowned. "Alright, back it off, you two. Ev only came here because we were fighting some furry green creatures of some sorts" I said.

 Suddenly, the gryphon stepped back a bit. "The Goblin Khan attacked your school?" he asked. "We don't know but we were fighting some green creatures" Darryl thought. "The Goblin Khan might on Roberton's side. He somehow held a grudge against us" the siren added. "If the Goblin Khan is on Roberton's side, then we must act before Roberton and the Jade Clan will attack the Fortress" the elder tree suggested. "Then we'll need more reinforcements" Darryl said. "You have your companion elf there, how many more would you need?" the elder tree asked. "You said a 'clan', right? Then there's more that we could handle or worse" I indicated. "He is right" the gryphon spoke then turned to Ev, "The girl! However, the Gauntlet does not hold anymore vacant slots".
