May We Meet Again

CHAPTER 10

2 months later
Octavia POV
Lincoln and I have been staying in Arkdaia for almost 2 months now. I'm now 3 months pregnant. My stomach is getting bigger, but I can still fit my clothes and my Trikru armor helps hide the baby bump. People seem okay a Grounder living with them, but I don't know how long it will last. Nobody knows that I'm pregnant yet. The only person that knows, besides Lincoln, is Bellamy. He has helped me so much since I've been back. Lincoln and I are laying in bed with the sun shining through the tent. I have my hands on my small baby bump and we stare into eachothers eyes. I feel a sudden rush in my throat and run outside the tent. I go out the flap of the tent and throw up. Lincoln comes out instantly and starts rubbing my back. Everyone just stares at us. Abby rushes over to us.

"Octavia, are you okay?" Abby asks

"Yeah, I'm fine." Octavia says in between throwing up

"Are you sure?" Abby asks

"No really I'm fine. It's just morning sickness." Octavia says as she wipes her mouth

"Morning sickness? Yoy only get morning sickness when... Are you pregnant?" Abby asks surprised and confused

"shoot, I said that out loud didn't I?" Octavia says regretting what she said, people murmur

"yeah." Abby says

"I'm pregnant." Octavia says hesitantly

"How far along?" Abby asks surprised

"8 weeks." Octavia answers

"Who knows about this?" Abby asks

"Lincoln...Bellamy and....Clarke." Octavia answers hesitantly between each name

"What are we going to do with a Grounder child?" Someone yells

"Excuse me?" Octavia asks offended

"The kid is gonna be a mashed up grounder-human thing." Someone says

"Excuse me... That is not was they will be. They will be a normal child living a normal life like us.." Octavia answers loudly

"Are you sure?" Someone asks sarcastically

"What is going on?" Bellamy asks as he came out of his tent holding Bella's hand helping her walk

"Nothing, were just leaving. I was giving them a second chance but I guess they don't want it." Octavia says crying going into her tent

"Octavia wait." Bellamy says as he follows Octavia into her tent

"No, I'm not going to raise a child in a place where they will not be excepted. And I'm most certainly not going to live in a place where my family is not excepted either. I thought Arkadia would be a better place to raise a child, but I guess I was wrong." Octavia says balling her eyes out sitting in the ground with her head in her knee. Lincoln rubs her back while she cries.

"Where are you going?" Bellamy asks concerned

"We'll live in the Trikru village." Octavia says looking at Lincoln

"That's fine. I'm sure they can spare us a space to live in." Lincoln reassures

"Octavia, I'm coming with you." Bellamy says

"No you are not. You have Bella now." Octavia says

"I'll bring her. Just like you said, You aren't going to live in a place where your family is not excepted. I am your family." Bellamy says

"I'll come too." Monty says entering the tent

"Us too..." Raven and Wick say as they enter the tent

"See, alot of people support you. Maybe most don't, but we see how Lincoln makes you feel and we support you. Lincoln is part of our family now." Bellamy says bendinv down, holding his sister's hands, rubbing his finger over her ring

"No. As chancellor anyone who doesn't accept the child of Octavia and Lincoln will be banished from Arkadia. Anyone who trys to harm them will be banished and given to the Commander. Anyone who trys to harm me will be banished from Arkadia. Anyone who disagrees with what I said can leave now or forever hold your peace." Abby says loud and clear as she exits the tent

Everyone was silent and went back to work

"Thank you Abby!" Octavia says wiping away her tears as Lincoln holds her

"Your welcome!" Abby says with a smile on her face
