Chapter 4

Percy took me home in his blue minivan (probably his mom's).

He dropped me off at my apartment and went up several flights of stairs to find his.

I opened the door waved to my dad and went into my room. As soon as I got in I shut the door and fell onto my bed.

So this is what it feels like to be in love.

It's a crazy feeling that makes you feel like you're on a roller coaster. Like any minute you could have a heart attack, but at the same minute, didn't have a care in the world.

I just laid on my bed with a stupid smile on my face.

My cat came out from under my bed and jumped onto my lap. I pet her soft fur and she cuddled up on my arm.

I fell in love they way you fall asleep, slowly, and then all at once. (AN: yes I did just use a Tfios quote)

I woke up the next morning praising The Lord cause it was Saturday. I made myself promise not to study on the weekends, so I really had nothing to do except lay around all day, yay.

I got dressed and made myself breakfast. My dad had to work on the weekends and wouldn't be home till around 5:00 pm.

I ate my breakfast and sat on the couch. I found the remote under a huge pile of magazines. I turned the tv on and saw that 'catching fire' was on, so I didn't have to change the channel.

Just as I got to about the middle of the movie, I heard a soft knock on the door. I paused the movie, got up, and went to answer the door.

Percy was standing there leaning against the door.

"Hey, wanna go catch a movie or something?" He said smiling down at me.

"Sure," I said grabbing my jacket off the hook by the door.

Catching fire would just have to wait. As I was about to turn off the TV Percy spoke up.

"What where you watching?"

"Catching fire, for like the 4 millionth time," I replied chuckling.

"Want to stay and watch that instead? I've actually never seen it," Percy said.

"Of course, it's raining so what's the point in going out anyway."

"Ok cool."

I picked up the remote and un-paused the movie. Percy sat down on the couch and I sat down beside him.

"Have you read it?" I say.

"What?"

"The books, the hunger games trilogy?"

"Oh, no. But I hear they're really good."

I went into my room and brought out my books.

"Read them then."

Percy smiles and takes them.

"I will, now that you bring it up."

We watch the rest of the movie and Percy stands up as the credits start rolling in.

"Come on," he says gesturing to the door.

"Where?"

"Outside."

"Why?"

"You'll see."

I stand up, grab my coat and head out side for whatever reason he wanted me too.

"Why are we out here? It's raining," I say confused as he leads me onto the side walk.

"I've always wanted to do this, just never found the right person," he says looking into my eyes.

I raise my eyebrow, "what exactly have you wanted to do?"

"This," he said as he grabbed my waist and pulled me into a kiss.

It was raining and he was kissing me, just like in a movie. The perfect kiss.

My world totally freezes and we stay like that for what I wish could have been forever.
