Had Me At Hello

Chapter 13

AN: yes I now I said this whole story is from annabeth's POV, but since this part in the story is kinda all about Percy and they aren't together, so I thought that I should do it from Percy's POV! :)

Chapter 13:

All I can remember after the doors to the ambulance slammed shut was the smell of the doctors office as they put me under a medication and I drifted to sleep.

I am awaken by the sound of loud talking and beeping monitors.

"He's awake!" I hear a soft voice say while the room goes silent.

"Percy, Percy! It's me! It's me your mom!" A lady says as I open my eyes.

I am shaken by my shoulders as tears are dripping onto my face.

A lady is in front of me with dark brown hair and soft brown eyes.

"Who-who are you?" I say holding the lady's hand.

The lady just leans back and stares toward the floor.

"I'm sorry...I don't know you," I say sitting up.

Just as the lady is about to say something, several doctors rush into the room and one tells her to politely leave to wait outside.

"Who-who was that?" I say laying back down and staring at the ceiling.

"Your mother, and by the looks of things she was pretty upset," a doctor says checking something of a clipboard.

"Okay kid we're just going to run a few test and you can be out of here by maybe tomorrow afternoon."

I nod and lay back down.

They take some blood and feel my heartbeat a couple times.

"All right so looks like very things normal except that wacked up memory of yours," the doctor says looking me in the eye sympathetically.

"Sounds good," I say closing my eyes.

"You have a couple visitors but after they leave you need to rest so you'll be out by tomorrow.

I just nod and keep my eyes closed until the doctors leave and some other people come into the room.

"Percy!" I hear someone yell as they rush to my bed.

It's annabeth.

"Annabeth," I say cupping her face in my hands.

"What did they do to you? Are you okay? What have you eaten? Wait, have you even eaten!?" She says brushing her fingers through my hair.

"I'm fine," I say laughing at her. She was so adorable when she was frustrated.

"They say I'll be out by tomorrow, until then I need to rest," I say sitting up.

Annabeth just smiles and walks away and the same lady, who was apparently my mom, walked up to me.

"I know you don't remember, but I love you Percy. You'll get over this and get your memory back soon," she says kissing my head.

After we trade hellos everyone is told by the doctor that I need rest and they have to leave.

Everyone else leaves the room so that it's just me and annabeth left.

She sits on the edge of my bed and kisses my lips.

I'm holding back tears and I can tell she is too.

"I love you Percy, remember that," she says before she stands up to leave.

She closes the door and that's when the tears start streaming down my face.
