XI I Blow Up a Custom Built Transporter, But It Wasn't My Fault I Swear
"Here, I guessed you'd want your overalls back, before you fixed the ship," Ben handed me my loose white shirt and black dungarees.
"It doesn't need fixing,"
"Whatever,"
"Thanks for the clothes, this is the cleanest they've ever been," I sniffed them "and the best they've ever smelt."
Ben laughed, "You're welcome," He followed me into the living quarters I had been given. "You do know you're supposed to sleep in here," he said eyeing the boxes of parts and equipment lying on the floor.
"I don't sleep," I walked into the next room to get changed.
I emerged from the room and quickly re-plaited my hair. "Help me with this equipment," I pointed at several boxes.
Ben looked at me like I was crazy. "You need all that?"
"Yes, and those sheets of metal," I pointed at a heap different metals.
"All of that?"
"We'll see," He sighed and stacked the two boxes lifting them into his arms.
"You can't skateboard through the halls!" Ben looked at me incredulously as I mounted the wheeled board used for getting under ships.
"You expect me to be able to carry that and all this," I attempted to nod at the pile of metal in my arms. Not waiting for a response I pushed off and wheeled down the halls, passing a shocked looking Hux.
I arrived in the docking bay stopping the 'skateboard'. "So, which one is it?" Ben was panting behind me from running through the halls with two boxes of equipment.
"That one," he walked towards a ship in the very corner of the bay.
"Okay, put those here," I dumped the pile of metal on the floor.
"I guess I'll leave you to it..." Ben started to walk off.
Two hours later I was welding the second sheet of metal over the fuel hatch.
"Aelin!" Someone shouted really loudly. I stopped welding and pushed myself out from under the ship. It was Hux.
I pulled the mask off my face. "What?"
"Kylo Ren wants to know if your nearly done,"
"I'm not," I pulled the mask back into my face. And made to move back under the transporter.
"Wait! How long are you going to be?"
"Like 2 more hours?" He nodded and walked off.
1 sheet of mesh, 2 sheets of metal and 1 square of blaster repellent fabric later. "I'm done!" I walked into the control room covered in oil and who knows what else.
"Great, Phasma get it fuelled up," Ben looked up.
"What?" I paled.
"We're getting it fuelled up?" Ben looked at me confused.
"You do realise I just covered the fuel hatch with 4 sheets of titanium-aluminium alloy on sheet of steel mesh and blaster repellent. It was supposed to be fuelled before I covered it?"
"What?"
"You can't get in there with a fuel hose,"
"What?"
"How was it not obvious that it need to be pre-fuelled?!"
"Well what are we going to do?" Hux asked
