"Police are still looking for this man- James Buchanan Barnes, who was caught on tape with explosives that were used to blow up the United Nations meeting. The incident resulted in the death of Wakanda's king T'chaka. Anyone with any information on Barnes is encouraged to call the anonymous hotline."

I didn't believe it. No matter what the TV said, I trusted Steve and if he trusted Bucky then that was enough for me. It didn't matter now anyway. Steve and anyone who sided with him was eternally screwed. A few months after I had returned back to normal, the government decided they wanted to control us by having us sign something called the Sokovia Accords. Those of us who refused to sign the Accords were officially out of a job and on the wrong side of the government. Our small army of rebels included; Steve, myself, Wanda, Sam, Clint, and Pietro. Spark, surprisingly, had chosen to sign the accords. I had tried to talk to her but she was adamant about not being homeless/jobless. Even if it meant watching her boyfriend slip away. I was most upset about Bruce though. He had said that he needed people to trust him more than ever considering that he was the Hulk. The only exception was Thor who had vanished after Sokovia and no one knew where he was.

"We have to find him." Steve said abruptly, jolting me out of my thoughts. I nodded silently and joined Sam in packing up our stuff in the hotel and getting ready to go find our brainwashed best friend. Sam went to go take our bags down stairs and left me with Steve.

"Hey," I said softly "Peggy was an amazing woman." Steve looked down at the floor and didn't say anything. We had just come back from Peggy Carter's funeral and since then, Steve hasn't been the same. Hopefully I could bring him back. I hopped on the bed and landed on my knees. Slowly I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug. He returned it immediately and started crying softly. "I love you Steve." I whispered gently.

"I love you too." he said hoarsely as his crying finally subsided. We stayed in the hug for a while, neither of us saying anything just being there for each other after everything that's happened in our lives.

"Bucky, it's me Thalia! Please you have to remember!" Bucky had been apprehended and after he had been left alone with some nut-job psychiatrist, he had gone full Winter Soldier. I was trying to hold him until Steve could get here but it wasn't going very well. I let out a gasp as Bucky's metal fist sucker punched me right in the stomach. He didn't even stop to let me catch my breath before picking me up by the throat and throwing me into a wall. My vision doubled and I staggered around the room trying to get my bearings.

"Thalia!" I heard Steve yell. He was in front of me a few seconds later, checking to make sure I was OK.

"I'm fine." I slurred, my motor functions still a little wonky "Go get Bucky."

"Your friend vanished. He ran outside." That was T'challa, the new king of Wakanda, hater of Bucky so by default, hater of Steve and I.

"Oh joy." I said weakly before tumbling to the ground. I would have cracked my head open, but thankfully Steve caught me and scooped me up bridal style. "Captain America to the rescue." I said incoherently. Yup, definitely hit my head on the wall too hard. Steve sighed and kissed my forehead before he dashed me outside as security tried to grab us. Sam pulled up in a car outside with an unconscious Bucky in the passenger seat. I guess he found him. Steve slid into the backseat with me on his lap and started screaming at Sam to go. At that point I passed out and stayed like that for a while until I woke up in an abandoned warehouse chained to none other than the Winter soldier.

What up guys! Hope I did OK on this chapter I was trying to go a different route than the movie considering the things I've already changed. Thank you so much for reading my story it means a lot!
