Getting up to speed

 "BRUCE!" I screamed as I jumped into my brother's arms and cried hysterically.

"Thalia?!" He said in shock "What the hell? They said you were dead!"

"It was only temporary." I assured him with a smile. Bruce looked like he wanted me to elaborate on the subject but I just dragged him over to see the rest of the team. "This is Ben, he's Bucky's boyfriend. You already know Steve and that's T'challa. I don't know if you remember him or not." Bruce nodded and waved at everyone. Ben gave an enthusiastic wave and Bucky just smiled awkwardly. Steve moved forward with a grin and gave Bruce a one armed hug. Then Steve walked over to me and put me on his shoulders.

"I see that you two are still working out OK." Bruce said with a smile. I smirked and held up my hand for him to see the ring on my finger. "YOU'RE ENGAGED!" Bruce yelled. I giggled and nodded happily as Bruce waited impatiently for Steve to lower me down before he tackled me in a hug.

"Not to hard," I said through my laughter "don't want to hurt the baby."

"WHAT?!"

"So how'd you get here?" I asked after we had caught Bruce up to speed on everything.

"T'challa called me after you died and told me where to go. I gave SHIELD the slip and now know one knows where I am."

"Thank God." I said quietly as I leaned against him. Bruce smiled and pulled me into a hug as we both sat there.

"When they told me you were dead Thalia, .... I Hulked out. Tony had to steer me towards a forest, we're lucky I didn't hurt anyone."

"I didn't mean to die."

"You act as if you just broke Mom's vase. Not gave up your life to stop a super villain."

"Well when you put it that way." I said sarcastically. Bruce laughed and kissed my forehead.

"Please don't die again Thalia."

"I have no plans to."
