Chapter 21

*Sara's POV*

According to Bart, we are staying in Paris for over a month.

We have been here for a week and gets more awkward by the minute. I notice Hayes keeps staring at me too. He was so adorable and believe me, I wanted to date him. I wanted to date him so badly. But not after the way he treated Gabby. She didn't deserve that. No one does.

We were walking on the sidewalk going to a fancy restaurant in the town for a meeting. It was almost 6 in the evening and me and Gabby and Meygan walk side by side.

"Paris is so beautiful, isn't it?" Meygan asks adjusting Matt's sunglasses that were on her face

"Yeah," I add "especially at night."

We all smile and walk into the restaurant.

We all sit in a rounded table.

It goes:

Gabby

Matt

Hayes

Carter

Cameron

Nash

Jack

Jack

Aaron

Shawn

Throughout the night Hayes couldn't stop staring at me.

I accuse my self from the table for the bathroom to fix myself up.

I reapply light makeup and fix my hair. Perfect.

I walk out of the bathroom and someone grabs me and pulls me outside the restaurant.

"Sara," Hayes says "I can't do this. I want to date you. really badly."

"Hayes, I don't know if I can. the say you broke up with Gabby was cruel. I would never do that to her." I say

"And I realize I messed up but you're the one I want to be with."

"I want to be with you too but Gabby, I don't think she'll be thrilled with the idea." I say

"Have you asked here." he said

"Um, no. That's not something you just spring up on someone!" I say.

"Ask her," he says pouting and grabbing my hand and popping his bottom lip out "for me."

"I'll try." and walk back into the restaurant.

*Meygan's POV*

We all sit around the table. Man, Hayes and Sara have been in the bathroom for a while.

"Meygan," Matt says with a mouth full of velvet cake "you have to taste this." and points the fork towards my mouth

I block my hand and say "you ate a full plate of pasta, half of mine, and 3 refills of soda and you're still eating?"

He gives me that smile

"You're a pig" I say and turn to talk to Gabby and see Sara return to the table

"Hey guys, can I talk to you for a moment?" Sara asks me and Gabby

I look over at Matt who's too busy shoving cake in his mouth to notice and nod at Sara.

We follow her to the bathroom and make sure no one is in there.

All clear.

"What's up?" I say

"Um," I look over at Gabby "Hayes asked me out. And I was wondering if you were okay with that? like me and Hayes dating." she asks nervously.

Gabby was a little hesitant. She looks down at her shoes and finally answers.

"Yeah, it's cool," a whoosh of relief goes throughout my body. "Go ahead."

"Are you sure because if you are not cool with it, it doesn't have to happen." sara say hoping she would say its okay

"Yeah, go ahead. I'm kinda getting over him."

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She says hugging her.

We all run back over to the table. I had a big smile on my face and Matt couldn't help but notice.

"What happened? what'd I miss out on?" he asks

I smile so big which makes him smile

I lean in and whisper to him what had happened.

His eyes get big and he makes that face. The Matt The Creeper face at Hayes and then at Sara, then back at Hayes then back at Sara.

"You are so creepy! what's the matter with you?" Sara yells.

"Get it you two," he says pointing at Hayes and Sara. "go Hayes."

Nash slowly caught on.

"Excuse me." he says dismissing himself from he table.

*Matt's POV*

Me, Meygan, Sara, and Hayes manage to get away from the group and wander off in the park.

All of us hand in hand with the baes.

Paris was the best at night.

There was a big hill and me and Hayes couldn't ignore it. We both look at each other and the girls look at us in confusion. We were all the top of the hill.

"I think you know what we need to do." I say in a serious way to Hayes.

"I believe I do." Hayes says in the same tone.

We both pick up the girls on our shoulders and run down the hill.

We both grow out of breath and gently drop the girls to the ground. Gently though.

They lay with there backs on the ground laughing hysterically.

Their laughs were perfect.

Me and Hayes sit on our knees and catch our breath.

Once we do, we lean down and kiss them. I hover over Meygan and kiss her and run my hands through her strawberry scented hair.

And Hayes does the same with Sara

When were done, we lie down next to them and look up at the sky. An hour later, the girls end up passing out in the grass and it was around 12:30.

We had to get back!

"Meygan," I say tiredly and shake her gently "wake up. We gotta go"

She wakes up and says "but I'm tired. Carry me? I'll return the favor." she says wiggling her eyebrows up and down.

I could pass up the opportunity!

Hayes pick Sara up and I pick up Meygan.

We finally make back to the room and me and Hayes plop the girls on the bed and take off our pants a shirt so all we were wearing were underwear. I, of course, was wearing American Eagle.

I throw myself next Meygan. We lay so that we are facing each other and I wrap my arms around her.

"I love you." she whispers and I kiss her forehead.

"I love you more."

"I love you most." she says

"Don't forget, you still have to return the favor for me carrying you." I say and she laughs and drifts off to sleep

The perfect end to the perfect day.
