Chapter 37

*Sara's POV*

No, this can't be happening. Reese can't really be Prom King.

I stand on stage as everyone oohs and laughs and Reese takes the crown. He looks at me, takes my hand, and guides me over to the dance floor.

The king and queen dance. Kill Me.

"It's nice how things turn out, isn't it?" he says as we dance.

I just roll my eyes and look towards Hayes and mouth 'I'm sorry'

I look at everything else, but Reese but he just continues to look at me.

"I think fate brought us here tonight. Together" he says and pushes me to look at him

"no, it didn't just shut up, and let's just get this dance over with" I say shutting him up the rest of the dance.

*Meygan's POV*

Sara looks miserable out on the floor. what's worse is that only them can dance right now so everyone is staring. Matt and Hayes stand behind me and talk. soon after, I feel Matt wrap his arms around me

"Are there any ex boyfriends I should know about?" he whispers in my ear

My heart begins to pound. My thoughts shoot right over to Ryan. Does he know? He can't know can it? I mean, it's not like we actually dated but there was a rumor, started by Ryan of course, that we did.

"nope" I say and remove myself from his arms to go talk to Hayes and trying to change the subject.

"Its okay Hayes, there's nothing going on anymore with Sara and Reese. Promise." I say to Hayes

Hayes nods and hangs his head from his neck and I pat his back softly.

*Gabby's POV*

Me and Cameron have been spending the whole night at my house. He was laying on the bed and I was at my desk on the computer.

All of a sudden, my door quickly swung open and I saw my parents standing there.

"Mom, Dad, what happened?" I say not getting up from the computer.

"$250 dollars was taken out of bank account to pay off bail money! Gabby, who was in jail that you needed to bail out so badly that you were willing to take that kind of money out?" My dad says yelling. I look at Cameron who's giving me a concerned look. He put the pieces together.

"I was in jail, I picked a fight at a restaurant and I ended up in jail. Gabby was trying to keep me out of trouble." Cameron said standing up and looking at my parents

I looked at them and my mother's hand was covering her mouth and my dad couldn't stop looking at Cam.

After about a minute, my parents finally broke their trance and came back to the real world.

"I want you out of my house, and I want you out NOW." dad says pointing outside.

"No dad, you can't do this, I was the one who took the money out, not him." I say with tears coming out of my eyes.

"No, Gabby, he needs to leave, like now. Cameron, get out." mom says agreeing with dad.

Cameron slowly gathers his things and he looks at me and winks and walks out. My father follows and closes the door and locks it.

"You are not allowed to see him anymore. you hear me?" my dad says pointing his finger at me.

"And give us your phone too, you need no contact with anyone, for right now. hand it over." My mom says extending her hand out. I hand her my phone and stomp towards my room

"THIS IS SO UNFAIR!" I yell and slam my door shut.

Once I'm in the room, I slam the door and slide down crying. I grab the closest pillow to me and scream into it.

Sorry for the short chapter. I'm gonna try to update more often and try to make them longer.
