Chapter 5

Next day

*Meygan's POV*

I was so happy for Sara and Gabby. Being asked out by Nash and Hayes must have been a dream come true for them.

But I couldn't stop thinking about Matt not asking me out the same time they did. I thought we were really close. But still happy for my girls.

"Hey we're going to Six Flags today! You wanna come?" Aaron asks with Carter, Cameron, Shawn, and Jacob behind him.

"Yeah sure! That's sounds cool. Just give me time to get ready." I say rummaging through my suitcase looking for clothes.

I go to the bathroom putting on my emerald green polka dotted tank top, Hollister shorts and black vans. I also apply light makeup and my hair straightened.

I walk out the room and see Sara, Gabby, Hayes, Nash, and Matt walking through the hallways.

"But when we get there we have to eat there cotton candy! They have the best!" Hayes says to them.

"YASSS!" Nash says and laughs.

They all begin to laugh and saw me.

"Hey Meygan!" Hayes, Nash, Gabby, and Sara say in unison.

I smile and wave to them and look over at Matt who's gently smiling.

"You are coming with us today right?!" Nash asks me

"Of course! Why wouldn't I?"

"Welllll, you and Matt and kinda not talking and making it awkw---" Hayes begins to trail off when Sara steps on his toes.

"SHUT UP HAYES!" Sara screams at him

I look over at Matt who's trying to play off Hayes saying that. Looking at everything else but me.

"No it's okay. I'm going."

I see a smile come across Matt's and I begin to smile to.

I could tell Sara and Nash saw us smiling at each other and they say together "ooh killem" as they all laugh.

They begin to walk to the elevators and Matt walks behind us. We manage to catch an elevator with all the boys and Sara, Hayes, Nash and Gabby hop in and it becomes full.

Me and Matt stand there with confusion.

"Sorry you two, looks like you'll have to catch the next one!" Nash says wrapping his arm around Sara and making out with her on the elevator.

"EWWWW" Taylor screams at the sight of seeing Nash and Sara as the elevator closes.

"Looks like its just you and me." Matt says and waits for the next elevator.

*Matt's POV*

It was just me and Meygan standing there. We waited patiently in silence.

The ding of the elevator went off and opened. Meygan hopped on first and pressed the lobby button. Again we were in silence.

I have to do something! I can't just let her fall through my fingers like this.

I had to work fast.

I looked around an saw the elevator stop button. I leap and jam it.

It suddenly comes to a stop.

"Matt! why'd you do that?!" She says mad and goes to press it back but I grab her hand.

"Meygan, I can't take this anymore! I like you! A lot. Like a lot a a lot! It's just that, I got so nervous to ask you out last night. I panicked and afterwards, I was so mad at myself for not doing so." I say, not regretting even one word coming out of my mouth.

"Awe Matt! I like you too!" She says as my heart skips a beat.

"But I have to ask you something!" I say.

"Of course Matt, you can ask me anything!" She says.

I slowly get down on one knee and pull out a white rose I found in the hotel garden. (Ikr!)

"Will you, Meygan Rae Garcia be my girlfriend?" I ask as my hand begins to shake.

"In every language, sí, oui, ja, yes." she says as she comes down and kisses me on the lips. we slowly rise, never breaking the kiss and I pick her up and spin her around.
