Chapter 35

*Hayes' POV*

After the whole jail thing, it was 5:30 and we were all pretty hungry so we all decided to go to Panera Bread for dinner. 

We all sit down, me and Sara on one side, Meygan and Matt sitting across from us and Gabby and Cameron on opposite ends of the table

"So how was the fight, tell us everything!" Matt says turning to Cameron

Matt looks at Cameron, who was looking at Meygan, who was staring at Matt with a look. When Matt turns to look at Meygan, she slaps him, not hard in the stomach

"Lets just move on from that." she says and then looks at me "So, someone's birthday is coming up!"

"Yeah, I'm so excited!" I say and look at everyone. My birthday was in 3 weeks and I couldnt wait any longer 

"whats the schedule this week?" Cameron asks

"I've got soccer practice tomorrow, Thursday and Friday" Sara says

"I have nothing, field hockey is over!" Gabby says dancing in celebration

"I have volleyball finals next week in Gainsville!" Meygan adds 

The school year was almost over for them, Sara and Meygan would be seniors next year, and Gabby would be a sophomore.

I scooted closer to Sara's chair and wrapped my  arm around her, I was one lucky guy to have such a pretty and smart girlfriend who was a thousand times out of my league. 

*Meygan's POV*

Sara and Hayes went to her house, her parents had finally allowed Hayes to stay at her house, but in the guest room obviously. I had to drop off Gabby and Cameron at her house and me and Matt ended up back at my house at around 8.

I lay in my bed because, for some reason, I was really tired. I felt Matt's arms wrap around me and him jump into my bed and kisses me on the cheek. 

"What was that for?" I say under my breathe with my eyes closed. 

"No reason" He whispers in my ear and it tickles

I open my eyes and turn my body to face him. We were not laying face to face.

"You know junior prom is this Friday." he says "We still need to go dress shopping for you and I need a tux with a tie that matches your beautiful dress." he adds and rubs his fingers up and down my arms.

"Maybe tomorrow." I say and kiss his nose.

We ended up talking the rest of the night until he passed out. I look at the time; 11:34

Gosh, I have school tomorrow. Ughhh

I slowly, remove myself out of Matt's arms and walk to my phone, which was on, my desk and look at a new message that popped up.

Ryan; the football player..... UGGHH

I told him a million times I lost interest but he wouldn't take no for an answer.

 *the next morning; Monday; 7:00*

I woke up the next morning to my alarm clock off and a sleeping Matt with his arms locked around me. I slowly, remove myself and quietly get dressed. Hollister jeans, a gray, long sleeves shirt, and a pair of decks with my hair down.

The end of the school year couldn't come fast enough.

*Sara's POV*

By the time it was lunch, I was so exhausted, Hayes and I were up all night talking about the randomest stuff. His birthday was coming up and I had a little something up my sleeve.
