All I see is you

Chapter 36 -- Prom

*Sara's POV* 

Me and Hayes just finished dress shopping for prom tomorrow, and let me just say, we are going to look AMAZING next to each other. My dress was a gold, top short sparkly prom dress and his suit was a black suit with a white, white tie.

The next day, me, Meygan, and Gabby all meet up at Meygan's house and get ready. Gabby wasn't going to prom, but she offered to help with makeup. 

By the time the Hayes and Matt came, we were finished.

"Guys, Matt and Hayes are here!" Gabby says poking her head in the door. 

Me and Meygan both look a each other and check ourselves in the mirror, I was wearing my dress with my hair straightened and she was wearing her light pink dress with her hair straightened. I felt bad for Gabby because when she was straightening my hair, she kept burning herself so she has burns all over her fingers

We walk down the stairs, me first, then Meygan and stop halfway through the steps. We let Hayes and Matt look at us and their jaws drop in awe. 

I walk down the steps and grab Hayes' hand and he takes another look at me up and down. 

"I, am one lucky, lucky guy. You look so gorgeous!" he says and I blush alittle.

"You're not looking to bad yourself" I say and grab the collar of his suit and lean him in to kiss me

*Meygan's POV*

Matt looks so handsome. My mom takes pictures for us

First, me and Matt do the classic prom pose, the one where the I stand in front of him and he holds my  waist. Then I hear a cars beep and see all of my team mates from volleyball and Sara's teammates from soccer pour out. 

We all take pictures as one big group, they were going to be amazing

By the time we got to the dance, it was 8:30 and there were already a ton of people here. The song was Say Something by Christina Agularia (ik I didnt spell that right) and A Great Big World

Matt grabs my hand and takes me to the dance floor. We dance and, I have to admit, he could dance

"Where'd you learn how to dance like that?" I ask him

"I learned from the best" he says, never losing contact with my eyes

"Moi!" I say laughing

I love him. I was in love with him. Every time I see him or talk to him my stomach flutters and the butterflies kick in.

*Hayes' POV*

Me and Sara were standing by the punch bowl and she was talking to some of her friends and I stood next to her.

When she was finally done talking, she turned to me and smiled

"Are you having a good time?" she asks and wraps her arms around my shoulders

"Couldn't think of a better way to spend my first prom than with the love of my life." i say and look into her eyes

*Gabby's POV*

My parents havent given me my allowance yet and I am getting very very nervous. What am I going to do  when they look at the savings mone and see $250 dollars taken out? How can I get this money back?! 

Cameron and I sit on my bed, he was watching iCarly and I was looking through a magazine.

"Can we talk about the money now?" I ask looking at him at the end of the bed. 

"I told you, there is nothing to talk about." he says and looks at me for once

Thats it.

"No." I say standing up and turning off the tv "we are talking about this, now" i say and cross my arms

"Here's what happened," He stands up "The guy was looking at you, flirting and stuff, so I told him to back off. Thats all" He says

I look at him like So you call starting a fight, just telling him to back off?  he did way more than that

"Okay, so maybe did more than that" he says and looks down.

"Maybe" I say with sarcasm

"But thats just because I love you." he says and hugs me, we were going to be okay.

*Meygan's POV*

"Okay, can I have everybody's attention please." the head of the prom committee, Amanda Evans says on stage "Okay, now we'd like to present our king and queen of prom, as always, ladies first."

Matt stands behind me and rubs my arms as if I was going to win, for one thing, I don't like that stuff

"Our prom queen is...... Sara Palmer!" Amanda says, everyone claps and I look over at Sara standing next to me and her face was priceless. Sara struts on stage and recieves the crown on her head and smiles and waves

"Okay, now for the king, your king is.........Reese Wetstien" (Sara-- if you're reading this.... you know you'd love it, get it Sara!) 

I continue to stay in Matt's arms "No, that can't be right." i say

"What's wrong?" Hayes and Matt say at the same time and look at me

Everyone oohs and laughs making fun. I look at Sara on stage and she looks like she was about to cry

"That's Sara's ex, the one she dates the months between you and her dated. They only dated like two months but he broke her heqrt, dating a cheerleader at the same time as Sara. Then, he begged for her back and claimed 'she was the one for him'" I say

We all look up on stage and see him recieve the crown and flash a flirty smile towards Sara
