Maggie's POV

I feel bad leaving Cam's house without even saying anything to him. I just didn't wanna snap at him. He was being so sweet and nice to me, and I didn't want to mess it up. My family not caring that I was gone for a whole day kind of messed me up. I just needed to get out of the house.
I decided to text Cam.

A/N: when they text the names are In the perspective of that person. so Maggie's contact name for cam is 'Cam :)'

Me: Hey :) whatcha doing today?

He replied instantly

Cam :) : Hey! Nothing really I have a baseball game at 4, but that's really it.

Me: Oh cool!

Not cool. Now I couldn't hang out with Cam. I didn't want to invite myself to his game, so I just let it be and waited for his reply.

Cam :) : You know.. if you're not doing anything today, maybe you could go to the game and watch me play. Then, we could go get ice cream or something. :)

I was ecstatic! It's like he read my mind.

Me: Sure! I would love to watch you! :)

Cam :) : Awesome! I'll pick you up at around 3:30.

Me: Sounds good! See ya then :)

Cam :) : Alright! Later!

I would have an hour to get ready, which is more than enough time for me. I am not one of those girls who take forever to get ready. it really only took me 15-20 minutes tops. I figured I might as well start getting ready now. I turned on the water in the shower, and waited until it got to the right temperature. When I got out I wrapped a towel around me, and one on my head. I went to pick out what to wear. I wanted to look nice. Dress? No, too classy. Skirt? Don't have any cute ones. I decided to go with short black shorts and a pink crop top that said 'Keep your head up' in black lettering. When I finished getting dressed, I attacked my hair. I had straight, long, brown hair with blonde (natural) highlights. Craving a different look I decided to curl my hair in loose curls. Then, I went back to the bathroom and did my makeup. I applied mascara, eyeliner, concealer, and a little it of eyeshadow.

When I finally finished it was 3:10. I took a little more time getting ready because I wanted to look good for Cameron. I decided to eat something and waited for the big hand to reach the 6.

Cam's POV

I put on my uniform, and made sure it was tucked in. I had to make sure it was perfect. I couldn't wait for it to be 3:30. It was only 3:15. Girls take a longer time to get ready so I decided to give her a little more time. At 3:20, I'll drive to her house.

Okay, it's like the same thing as 3:20. Ya know, when you round. Whatever, she's probably done by now.

I got in the car and drove to her house. It only took a minute because she is right up the road. When I got out, I rung the doorbell.

"Hey Cam! Someone's here early." a girl who I thought was Maggie didn't look anything like the other, this Maggie looked absolutely stunning. Not that she isn't gorgeous when she doesn't wear make up, and doesn't do anything with her hair. But this, wow.

"Hi! Y-You look beautiful." I said smiling looking into her sparkling blue eyes.

"Aw thanks Cam! You look don't look half bad yourself." she smirked

I laughed.

"So, do you wanna come in or nah?"

"nahh, nahh we should probably go my game starts in a half an hour and I gotta warm up."

"alright! leggo!" I swear she doesn't even have to try to make me laugh.
