Chapter 10

A/N: Hey guyssss! I'm in a really good mood, and I have no clue why.. lol. Well, enough about me, let's get to the story. I'm going to go to the day her family is moving. okay, well... ENJOY!

Maggie's POV

I am so happy my mom said yes. I mean, it was kind of obvious, but still I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. I figured I should still say goodbye. After all, they are still my family. I walked into the kitchen, and see my parents sucking face.. Okay... ew! They turned around to face me. My mom wipes her lip. This is so awkward...

"Uh... Um.. nevermind." I turned around and ran up the stairs. I can't take the picture out of my mind.. It was so gross. I decided to just not think of it anymore, so I went on Instagram. I scrolled through many pictures that had no meaning to me. Then, I came to a picture that Cam posted. It was a picture of him and I, and it looked like we were having fun because we both had smiles on our face and the wind was blowing through my hair. I love this picture. I looked at the caption, and it said "Couldn't picture life with out her. ❤️" I smiled, but when I saw the comments my smile faded. It said things like: "ew SLUUT" "Aw Cam you could do better" "OMG HAHAHAH SHES SO UGLY!" Those kinda hurt, but I brushed it off when I noticed there are nicer people in this world. "aww are you guys dating? That would be such a cute couple! I SHIP CAGGIE!" How they knew my name, I will never know. There were more "OMG she's perfect!" I love Cam's followers! Wait... correction: I like some of Cam's followers! Why did he have so many though?

I texted him, mostly because I was bored.

Me: Hey Cam! Saw the Instagram post! I love that picture now lol

Cam 😍: Hey Mags! Ik!! I've always liked that pic.. actually, I love every picture you're in..

Oh my god that was so cute! I could feel my face get really hot. I smiled, and texted him back.

Me: Aw thanks Cam!

Cam 😍: No problem beautiful

Did Cameron really just call me beautiful?! *High girl screech*

Me: ☺️ Do you think we could go somewhere? My house is sooooo boring

Cam 😍: Of course! I was actually going to ask you the same thing! Come to my house in like 5 minutes

Me: Okay! where are we going?

Cam 😍: It's a surprise

A surprise? I kinda hate surprises, but I'm sure if it is coming from Cameron I will like it. I can't wait what he has in store for me! He couldn't wait, I went to his house 5 minutes early than he told me to.

Cam's POV

The doorbell rang, so I got out of the shower, wrapped a towel around my waist, and sprinted for the door. I opened the door to see Maggie with her eyes wide, then she looked down with her face as red as a tomatoe. I love it when she blushes. It's so precious. I laughed "Hello Gorgeous! someone came early." She looked up.

"Who's gorgeous? I'm Maggie." She said cracking a smile.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! Please come in, Gorgeous Girl Named Maggie."

She rolled her eyes, and came inside.

"You can stay down here, while I get dressed."

"Okay, don't take too long!"

I wanted to look my best for her. I mean, she did deserve it. I put on a button down red plaid shirt, and some shorts. I grabbed a pair of nike socks and my red vans, and headed downstairs.

When I got down there I saw Maggie looking at the collage of my family that my mom hung up. I walked over, and rested my chin on her shoulder while holding her waist. She turned a little bit, then looked back at the pictures. I let go, and walked over to point out a picture.

"This one is my favorite." I said pointing to a picture of me when I was 4, sitting on top of my mom like she was a horse.

She giggled. She had the cutest giggle... "Mine too." She said looking into my eyes.

"Cameron?"

"Yeah?"

"Where's your dad? I haven't seen him since I was 6!"

I looked down. I could feel tears on the edge of my eyelid wanting to come out. "In heaven.." I finally answered.

Tears started forming in her eyes. Her mouth dropped. Since she didn't really have a dad that cared, she would always go to my dad to talk. They were really close. I'm not surprised she would react like this.

"Aw Maggie, come here." I say wrapping her in my arms. I could feel her tears through my shirt.

"H-he was such a nice guy.." she said gasping for air.

"Shhhh I know, I know.. he was great." I said stroking through her hair trying to comfort her. A tear slipped out, but I kept the rest in so I can be strong for Maggie.

"Do you wanna just stay here?" I asked thinking she wouldn't be up to going out right now.

"No." She wiped her tears, and sniffled. "We can go."

"Are you sure, Ma-"

"Pleaseeeeee Cam?? I wanna know the surprise!" She winned.

"Okay, okay.. Let's go."

"YAY!" she yelled. I grabbed her hand and headed for the door.
