Chapter 8

Maggie's POV

"Hey guys, um what's going on?" I asked walking toward my family. They were looking down.

"Dave? Can you tell her?" My mother asked turning to my dad.

"Dad?" I asked looking at him hoping he would tell me. He was looking down.

"Honey, we know this might be hard on you considering we know that you made some friends here..... I got fired, and now we can't afford the house. We have to move back to our old house. I suggest you pack your things and be ready to leave on Tuesday." With that he got up and left. I was frozen. I couldn't move. Processing what just happened. We can't move, I literally just became friends with Cam again. This isn't fair! This isn't fair at all!

"Why? Why does this have to happen to me?" I asked my mom, tears threatening to come out.

My mom got up, and hugged me.

"Maggie, don't worry. You'll forget about them." I couldn't hold it back anymore. Tears exploded out of my eyes. I got out of my moms grip and ran upstairs. How could my mom say that? I don't think I could ever forget about Cam. This sucks. I decided to tell Cameron.

Me: Hi :(

Cam :) : Hey... What's wrong?

Me: My dad got fired and we have to move back to our old house...

Cam's POV

Right when I got Maggie's message, I got incredibly upset, and angry. How could this happen.

Me: What? How long have you known?

Mags :D : About 5 minutes.

Me: This sucks. I'm going to miss you so much. :'(

Mags :D : Ikr I'm gonna miss you too! Could maybe come over? I can't be anymore.

Me: Of course.

Me: When do you wanna come over? Instantly, I got a reply back.

Mags :D : I'm here.

I went to the door to see Maggie with puffy eyes, a red nose, and tears streaming down her face. I brought her in my arms, and hugged her tight.

I whispered in her ear, "It's going to be okay." I let her free, and saw her beautiful smile.

I took her hand, and brought her into the kitchen with me. I put popcorn in the microwave, and got two glasses of pink lemonade. I remembered that it was her favorite drink. I brought it over to her, and she smiled. She looks into my eyes. We just stare at each other for a while. Man, she was so gorgeous.

"Cam?" She said while getting my attention.

"Yeah?"

"You're the sweetest guy ever. I know I can tell you anything. I know you can always brighten up my day. Even, when I'm having the crappiest day ever. I know that you are, and always will be my bestfriend."

I couldn't stop smiling. She's the nicest girl ever.

"Mags, That means so much to me that you said that. But, I want you to know that you are the nicest, sweetest, most beautiful person inside and out. No matter where you go, expect me to be right there next to you the whole way." Her face was so red. It was so adorable. She looked down while smiling.

"And Maggie?" She looked up.

"You will forever and always be my best friend ever." She smiled bigger, and gave me a hug. She smelt so good. Her hugs are so gentle, and nice. Just like her.

I was so sad, and depressed. Now, I'm just incredibly happy, and I never want to leave her
