POV Alyssa
I was already at the airport, walked in the direction of the meeting point and looked around hoping to see Andrew or Shawn directly. In the distance I could finally see the world famous curly hair. I swallowed heavily and walked towards the two of them and already I could recognize the crowd of fans around them. This did not stop me, of course.
The fans were asked to line up in a row so that Shawn could quickly move forward with the pictures. Andrew stood patiently beside them watching Shawn taking pictures with his fans at an incredible speed.
"Andrew?" I said uncertainly, whereupon he turned his head to me.
"Alyssa! You're already here" he came up to me, first gave me his hand and then embraced me. "Welcome to New York. When Shawn's ready, we'll go to the hotel."
"Sounds like a plan" I smiled friendly and now I was also watching Shawn.
It didn't take long until Shawn was at the end of the line and finally came to Andrew and me. When his eyes met mine, he smiled gently and walked faster. I felt my knees slowly softening since he looked much better in person than on videos and pictures.
"So you're Alyssa. Nice to meet you," he hugged me briefly as he stood right in front of me.
"Well, you two, let's get out of this airport and go to your hotel," Andrew said and went ahead.
Shawn took my suitcase and went off and I followed him. We walked quickly with our heads lowered so that not too many people spotted us. Every now and then I could see a flashing light in my corner of the eye. Photos of us were taken.
We reached the parking lot and Andrew finally stopped in front of a car. He started looking for the key in his jacket pocket and finally found it. My suitcase was put in by Shawn. Andrew held the door open for me and I got in the back.
"Welcome to the tour, Alyssa," Shawn finally said, looking back at me.
"I'm really pleased to be working with you. I will make an effort with my photos", I said and smiled.
