I was in a field of flowers. It was beautiful. It was like heaven. Or some sort of in between world.
- you're here?
Someone said. And I immediately knew who it was.
- Uehara...
I said, and ran across the field to him.
- I thought I would never see you again...
I said, and touched his face.
- you shouldn't see me.
He said.
- why not?
I asked him.
- because I have to move on. And so do you.
He said.

I knew he was right. But seeing him made me so happy. But it wasn't a feeling. It just felt like a memory.
- I wish I could feel this moment..
I said, and looked down on the ground.
- it's because it's not real.
He said.
- I know that.
I answered.

We sat down in the field, and I started making a crown with the flowers.
- will you take this with you to heaven?
I asked him, and handed it to him.
- I'll never let it go.
He said, and put it on his head.
- it's beautiful.
I said.
- I'm beautiful thanks to you..
He said.
- it's time for me to go now.
He said, and got up.

I also got up, and hugged him. I knew I was crying, but I couldn't feel it.
- goodbye.

That was the last time I dreamt about my brother.
At first, I missed him a lot. But I knew he was in a better place. Somewhere that he would be loved. Maybe I was in his heaven too, taking care of him.
I really hoped so. Because I couldn't take care of him while he was alive.

Even though I had missed him a lot, I hadn't really gotten to know him. Only in my dreams.
But I was happy.
Because I still had someone to love.
And this time, I wouldn't let them go.
