The next few days went by in a blur. Nothing really special happened. It was just the usually, same old routine.

Today, I'm spending some time with Cody and Ryan. I haven't seen them in a while and we need to catch up. I tried talking with Ryan the other day but he seemed a little off.

I was out getting some groceries so I had to drop them off at home first. I did the right thing as a sister and left it for Lily to put away. The boys were out looking for a place they could rent and were probably going to be gone for a couple hours.

I pushed those thoughts to the back of my mind for now. I don't want to worry about that right now. I just wanted to enjoy spending time with my friends.

I pulled up to Cody's house and stepped out of my car. I knocked on the front door and it opened to reveal Cody wearing a plain white shirt with a flannel over it and jeans.

"Hey Mak, Ryan is already here. We're playing video games upstairs," he sounded hesitant, like he didn't want to say something he wasn't supposed to.

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be," he said quickly.

"Hmm." I still wasn't convinced, but decided to let it go.

We went up to Cody's room where Ryan was sitting on the bed with a controller in hands and staring at the television. A half empty pizza box was laying next to him and there were two drinks set on the desk.

"Thanks for waiting for me, guys," I said sarcastically while taking a seat next to Ryan. Cody grabbed the second controller and sat down on the chair next to his desk.

"You were taking too long," Cody shrugged.

"I had to go grocery shopping," I said putting my hands up in defense.

"Whatever, let's just win this thing," Ryan said, his video game character shooting a bunch of things on the screen.

A couple hours later, I went home and only Lily was there.

"Do you know what time the boys are getting back?" I asked Lily.

We were in my room. I was lying down on my bed while Lily walked around, observing my room.

"You really need to do something here. Paint the walls. Get decorations. Something. It's so...plain," she said completely ignoring my question.

"I'll do it soon. Do you know when they boys are coming back?" I asked again.

"They called earlier and said 5:00," she finally replied.

I looked at the time on my phone. One more hour.

"I have an idea," I sat up and looked at Lily.

"And that is?"

"Why don't we set up some pranks for the little monkeys," I grinned evilly.

"Monkeys?"

I rolled my eyes. "That's my nickname for the boys."

"Ohhhh. Let's do it," Lily's face matched mine.

We both rushed out of the room and into the kitchen.

"Okay, we're going to need eggs, paper towels, plastic wrap, and food coloring," I instructed.

"Got it," Lily gathered the paper towels and plastic wrap while I got the eggs and food coloring.

"Alright, let's go."

First, we sneaked into the room that Harry, Louis, and Niall share.

"Go into the bathroom and wrap the plastic wrap around the toilet seat," I said.
