"y/n, are you excited?" Jack asks as he guides you while you're blindfolded walking around a... mall?

"I mean, yeah! You don't get to walk around a mall blindfolded everyday." you smile and hear Jack chuckle.

"It doesn't look sketchy, right?" he asks you, as he guides you by holding your shoulders.

"Well, I don't think so, but it may be because I can't really see anything." you point out and he gives you an, "Ahh."

You no longer feel him guiding you and you question worriedly, "Jack?"

"Oh sorry, just thought this was better." he apologizes and you feel Jack begin to hold your hand, now continuing to guide you.

Always such a smooth guy, you think to yourself.

"Okay, I need you to wait here. Can I have your shoes?" Jack asks as you no longer feel guidance.

"What if someone tries to kidnap me, and I can't run away?" you question him, turning yourself around despite the fact that you couldn't see anything.

"Trust me, y/n," Jack assures you then adds, "I'll be right back."

You think he's gone until you hear his voice, "Uh... y/n, I need your shoes still."

"Oh yeah." you jump, but slip off your shoes and stand on the cold floor just with your socks on.

"I'll be back." he tells you, and you tell him, "my shoes cost at least five dollars, please take care of them."

You hear Jack laugh in the distance and then you're left standing in somewhere you are currently unfamiliar with.

Seriously, what if I get kidnapped?

Well, at least my shoes would be safe.

Your thoughts are interrupted as someone asks you, "Are you okay?"

"Oh yeah, I'm uh— just you know, uh standing." you're at a loss for words to make an explanation.

You don't even know if you're even facing the person or not— your back could just be practically facing them.

The voice belonged to a female, and she began to speak again.

"You weren't kidnapped here?" she asks you sympathetically.

Kidnapped to a mall by Jack Avery?

Nah.

"No, I'm on a date actually." you chuckle after giving the short reasoning, imagining how crazy this probably is to hear.

A moment passes and you hear the woman gasp, "Oh!"

Her tone changes as she tells you, "I know you'll have fun. Have a great day— was just making sure you were okay."

"Thank you." you tell her, appreciating the good intentioned gesture.

You continue to wait— blind.

More minutes pass and even though you weren't keeping track of time, it did feel like a good while had passed since Jack took your shoes.

I'm sure it hasn't been that long, you assure yourself.

Continuing to wait, you hear people talking, footsteps, laughing, music.

Although your vision was total darkness, you could picture the people here.

Couples walking while telling stories and sneaking glances at their significant other when they're not looking, kids laughing and pointing their fingers at things they desired through the windows, parents worrying about their bank accounts in discretion, all of it was imaginable.

Your thoughts are interrupted by Jack's apologetically explanation, "y/n, I'm sorry it took so long. I'm here now, though. Are you upset or anything?"

"I'm good, just blind." you smile, unable to be mad at the noodle head.

"Perfect."

That's the last thing Jack said before he picks you up, your feet leaving the floor swiftly.

"Jack, so you're the kidnapper?" you ask him, grinning but a bit worried of where you were going.

"I wouldn't say kidnapper." Jack laughs, holding you tightly.

"y/n, I'm going to make a jump... don't hate me."

"J-Jack what?" you stutter out, fear rushing through your veins.

Before an explanation, you feel yourself and Jack flying through the air.

"AHH!"

You land in a pile of foam blocks, taking off the bandanna from your face while still being in Jack's arms

You look and see Jack grinning at you, he places his hand on your cheek.

"I'm really sorry, y/n. You can't say it wasn't that fun, though!"

His grin is enough to make you not even want an apology, and you ask him, "why couldn't I have met you sooner?"

His eyes light up, "Tell me about it."

You two begin to climb out of the pit, you then take his extended hand and get ready for the next hours of adrenaline rushing fun.
