Jonah is sitting in a Starbucks cafe, alone at a table that was meant for two, loneliness settling in.

His face is resting upon his right palm, his left hand holding his drink that has been barely touched.

He stares at the seat in front of him, envisioning you.

Specifically, he thinks about all the mini coffee dates you two have gone on together.

He remembers a time you two were laughing so hard at an inside joke, that you knocked over your coffee on the table.

The laughs were so uncontrollable that every time you two tried to pick the cup up, it would end up tumbling over from shaky, unsteady hands.

"Jonah, we need to stop laughing!" You managed to speak in between laughs, your hand was over Jonah's as you two couldn't keep the cup standing together.

You two couldn't even get up from your seats, which ended up with both of you staining your outfits that day, but when you both had gotten to his home—neither of you cared about the coffee stains.

The car smelled of coffee for days, and one of boy would always comment on it which ended up in you or Jonah retelling the whole coffee story.

Jonah smiles as he remembers that day, and all the times he would specifically ask for a Frappuccino just to dip his finger into the cup and then deliberately put it on your nose.

He would then call you "messy" as you tried to do the same to him, which ended up with all the whipped cream on each others faces and not in the coffee drink itself.

Jonah finds himself grinning at the memories as he envisioned it all, the warmth and joy from the memories filling his body.

Although he's aware that you're busy now, he texts you to ask when you'll be free for another coffee date.
