Last Author's Note, I Promise :)

I think I'm just going to leave this book where it's at and just gentle close it and put in the corner where I will NEVER open it again. :)

Just kidding, this book is my baby. I'm not going to put in a corner and forget about it forever. I'll find it again eventually and laugh at how I thought I was the most amazing writer at the time, when in reality I had SO much room to improve. I'll look at the author's notes after every chapter and reminisce over everything I went through my 8th grade year and through my transition into high school, which I'm actually getting ready to leave. And I most definitely will look back at all of the comments and friends I made throughout the timespan this book has existed.

Right, onto new things before I make myself cry.

Should I make a new adoption book? If so, should it be a USWNT, 5H, or LM fanfic? I'd also need some ideas on what should happen throughout the story, since I clearly haven't written full-blown stories since my younger days.

Oh man do I sound old. Haha.

Some quick updates on where I am as a person now as opposed to my 8th grade-10th grade self.

First things first, I'm still single. I no longer play basketball competitively, which I miss. I'm the third chair percussionist out of around 14 (I don't feel like using my brain and trying to figure out how many of us there are) and play the drum set fairly decently, which is quite a change from playing flute for three years. My academics still suck, but I'm definitely a lot more responsible with that stuff. I have a new dog, so now I have four. Please save me. I'm a lot better mentally and probably physically as well, which is the biggest change between my younger self and now, in my eyes anyway. I'm also a lot more kind and not as cold-hearted as I used to be.

I really hope everyone is doing well and has had a great Christmas with their families and ate so much food they went into a food coma for 24 hours. Happy New Years! Let's make this year a great one!

Hey, guess what. I still love you all ;)
