Chapter 14

{Jade's POV}

I can't believe I told them.

"Jade," I look up at her, "why didn't she tell us before?" Perrie asks, her eyes brimming with tears once again. I just simply shrug and look between my legs, which were up against my chest.

"Think about it, Perrie. If you were in her situation, would you want people to know about it?" Leigh sighs, tears in her eyes as well.

We were all sitting in the living room after Dani had left, talking about the situation she was in.

"Well, I think we should visit her-" I cut Jesy off.

"No, not yet. I don't want her to know." I snap, my eyes not leaving the spot on the rug where one of the boys had spilled ketchup.

"I agree with Jade, she shouldn't know yet. After all, she didn't want Jade to tell us." Leigh says from beside me.

"Okay." Jesy shrinks into her seat.

We're silent for a few minutes until Perrie stands up.

"Jesy and I are going to grab lunch. Bye." She grabs Jesy's arm and drags her away without another word.

{Perrie's POV}

"We're going to the orphanage, don't worry." I reassure Jesy, who was confused as to why I made a decision without her say.

"Oh, okay. What about Leigh?" Jesy asks.

"I'll find a way to take her there." I think for a minute as we buckle in our seatbelts. "Hold on, I'll text her right now." I pull my phone and send out a simple text.

'Car.'

A few seconds later, Leigh walks out of the house and walks up to our car.

"Get in, we're visiting someone." I smirk.

"Who?" Leigh asks, slightly suspicious.

"Someone. Now let's go!" I say, encouraging her to get in the car. She huffs.

"Fine."

Once we get there, I park the car and unbuckle.

"What are we doing here?" Leigh asks. She had a hint of anger in her voice.

"Visiting someone." I smirk, taking a hold of her and Jesy hands as we walk inside.

"Hello girls, what age of child are you looking for?" I girl who seemed to be about Dani's age asks.

"Oh, no, we're just visiting someone." I smile, releasing the girls' hands.

"Oh, okay. Most kids are in their rooms. My name is Melissa if you need anything." The girl smiles at us as I nod and lead the girls upstairs, where I guessed all the rooms were.

I was right. I knock on the door in front of us and wait. A little boy opens the door with a smile.

"Hey," I bend down to his height, "do you know a Dani around here? We're visiting her." I ask the little boy. He nods and leads us down the hall. We wait as he knocks on the door.

"Dani? There's someone here to see you." He says quietly and leaves. Dani opens her door and her eyes widen as she sees us.

{Dani's POV}

What are they doing here?!

"Come in." I plaster a fake smile on my face and let them in. Alyssa groans from the bed.

"Who is it? They disturbed my beauty sleep." She grumbles.

"Alyssa... Be nice! You'd be surprised who is at the door." I sit on my bed, motioning for the girls to come in. Alyssa sits up and her eyes widen.

"Whoa... 3/4 of Little Mix..." She says in shock. The girls giggle and she falls off the bed, immediately fixing her hair. "Sorry about that. Long day at school. I-I'll be right back." She rushes off the bathroom, clothes in hand.

"Sorry about that. That's Alyssa, my roommate." I sigh.

"She seems cool." Perrie smiles. I nod.

"She came here yesterday. Anyway, how did you know I was here?" I ask suspiciously.

"Um... We followed you...?" Jesy says in a high-pitched voice. I scoff.

"No, really, what's the real reason?" I ask, a bit of anger in my voice.

"Jade..." Perrie sighs. Leigh hasn't spoken yet.

"Dang, I shouldn't have trusted her." I mumble under my breath as Alyssa walks back in.

"Hey." She smiles. I raise an eyebrow at her mood. She looks at me like she's saying 'What? IT'S FREAKING LITTLE MIX!' I roll my eyes.

"Hi. I take it you know who we are?" Jesy asks, smirking.

"Yes, yes I do, Jesy." Alyssa says in a posh accent. I laugh.

"Okay, so, what do you want to do? There isn't much." I shrug, cuddling into Leigh.

"We could..." Perrie trails off. "How about we go to the movies? Wait, I have an idea. We should invite Jade to come watch the movie with us!" She smirks. Leigh shakes her head furiously.

"noooooo no no no no. She would literally kill you!" Leigh exclaims, wrapping her arms around me. I laugh at that.

"So you guys came here without telling her?" I ask, slightly amused. They nod.

"Perrie's idea." Jesy quickly blurts out, making us laugh.

"Meanie." Perrie fake pouts. "Okay, let's go. What movie?" She asks, standing up.

"Godzilla...? (A/N: I FREAKING LOVE THIS MOVIE... New one of course)" Alyssa requests, looking at the rest of us for approval. We nod and Perrie leads us downstairs.

"Hey, we're heading out." I whisper to Melissa as she washes the dishes, making her nod.

"We'll be back soon!" Alyssa yells as we walk out of the building.

"Okay!" Melissa calls back. We load into the car and head off to the movies.

"That was awesome!" Alyssa cheers as we head back to the orphanage. The rest of us cheer in agreement.

An angry Jade was sitting on the steps of the orphanage when we got back. She immediately stands up when she sees us pull in.

"What the heck?!"

Heyyy ☺ I got my braces tightened today and it suuuuucks. It doesn't hurt much though, surprisingly.

School starts soon... I'm a freshman... Yaaaaaay 😣 But yeah! I found out that I'm going to be doing college work here... HELP ME!
