Chapter 5- Curious

"By the way, is Jake Hernandez courting you?"  Bigla siyang naubo sa tanong ko. I gave her a glass of water. Ininum naman niya.

"Are you okay?"  Kung mapano pa ito, ako pa ang pagbintangan.

"I'm fine. What's your question again?" Bingi ba ang babaing 'to? Tss. Paulit-ulit?

"Again, is Mr. Hernandez, the Operation manager courting you?"  Nakatingin lang ako sa kanya. Halata sa mukha niya na nagtataka siya sa tanong ko. 

"I'm still the boss in this company and I think I have the right to know what's happening inside my office, right Ms. Rodriguez?" I clarified. I don't what her to have an impression that I'm interested about her lovelife. I'm not, just curious.

Nitong nakaraan linggo napapansin ko kasing madalas lapitan ni Mr. Hernandez ang aking sekretarya. Di ko naman maikakaila na maganda si Amethyst, di nakakapagtataka if one of my employees likes her. Mas nakapagtataka kung walang makapapansin dito.  She has an alluring beauty that every man would be captivated. And it's amusing to know that she doesn't even about know it.  I admit, I'm not immuned to her beauty especially those innocent yet fierceful eyes.

"Don't worry Sir. It never crossed my mind that you are or you will be interested towards my relationships with men. And to answer your question, yes. He is making his moves but don't worry, that won't be a hindrance on my or his office works." Sigurado niyang sagot. I smiled.

Her candid attitude, one thing I like most about her. She says what she thinks without reservations. Kaya naman pala gustong gusto siya ni Tita Steph na maging secretary ko to the point na ipinatanggal pa nito ang dati kong sekretarya. Aside from her fiesty attitude, she's good in everything she does. She can handle any work I throw to her without questions even it's outside her work preference. But after she's done with it, she complains. Maybe she has that motto 'Obey first before you complain.' I'm not annoyed to listened to her complains, 'cause she has the right to. I'm making her work too much, just to test her and she passed with flying colors. I'm just happy that she can handle anything. And she's not making advances towards me, like flirting or showing motives  like what my past secretaries been doing. She's a professional.   I smiled. I'm lucky to have her in my company, she's a gem. But of course, I don't want her to know what I thought about her.

"I'm happy that we are clear on that Ms. Rodriguez. I don't want any distraction on any of my employees." Nakataas kilay niya.  Mukhang na-offend yata sa sinabi ko.

"Anyway, are you finished eating? 'cause I'm done. Ikaw na lang magligpit. Aalis muna ako."  I got my coat and walked out my office.

 Habang nasa elevator I can't help but grinned.  I can't deny that I'm smitten. She got my attention without even trying.  Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako o maiinis na hindi siya nagpapakita nang interes sa akin. At ang kaalaman na may gusto sa kanya ang isa sa mga empleyado ko.Tsk. Ang bilis naman ni Mr. Hernandez. I'm not worried 'cause I'm confident I can swept her off her feet .And I still can't forget the night I hugged her,  how I pressed my body towards her soft body. And her heavenly scent---SH-t! Just thinking about it gives me a hard-on. I've been experiencing this many times since that night.  Damn! I just can't ask her to sleep with me. She's not that kind of a woman. She'lll probably beat me to death if I do that. Remember the last time? It was just a kiss and a hug. How much more doing it. tss..gives me chills.

Amethyst

Grrrrrrrr!!!! Ano raw? Ako distraction?!!! Bakit ginusto ko bang magustuhan ni Jake??? Hindi ko siya gusto!! Si Aira ang gusto ko para sa kanya. Tsk! Kainis talaga. Inhale. Exhale. Relax. Kalma lang Amethyst. Wag kang padala sa galit, baka mamaya habulin mo si Boss at batuhin ng heels. Chill ka lang.

Anyway, musta na kaya si Jake at si Aira? Sana naman naging maayos ang kanilang on-the-spot date. Sana naman naging okay. Tanungin ko na lang si Aira mamaya sa ngayon maglinis na muna ako baka mamaya dumating si Boss at may sabihin naman di maganda sa akin. Baka di ko na mapigilan ang sarili ko . tss.

Nakaupo ako sa desk ko nang mapansin kong dumating na si Aira. Wala si Jake siguro dumeretso na siya office niya sa kanilang department. Hinintay ko siyang makalapit a desk ko. Malapit lang naman kasi desk namin ni Aira. Si Jake kasi sa ibang department ang opisina. 

"Ai musta date?" Excited kong tanong. Namula ang mukha.

"Hindi yun date noh! Naglunch lang naman kami e. Atsaka diba dapat kasama ka? Umalis ka nga lang." Defensive naman nito.

"O cge na. Denfensive ka. So anong nangyari sa lunch niyo?" Curious ako. Sana may improvements sa kanila.

"Ayun tanong ng tanong tungkol sa iyo. Kung anong gusto mo sa lalaki..ganito ganyan. Nagpatulong pa nga siya na manligaw sa iyo e." Malungkot na sabi niya. 

"Ano??!! Anong sagot mo? " Sana di ka pumayag. Wag kang pumayag.

"Syempre pumayag ako." Nakayuko niyang sabi. 

"Ai ba't kaba ganyan?!! Dapat di ka pumayag. Ano kaba??!! Dapat galit ka sa akin ngayon..Di ba gusto mo siya?" Naiinis ako! Bakit si Ai ganyan. Dapat inaaway niya ako. Naman e.!!
