When they got to Raiden’s room they put all their things down on the ground and stared at each other awkwardly. They kept their gaze on each other as if expecting one of them to start where they left off.
“I can’t do this anymore.” Raven sighed. “Not right now.” He nodded in agreement.
The mood officially ruined.
“You can come inside. I mean you are going to stay here for a very long time so get comfortable.” He grinned at her. She looked around and stepped inside hesitantly as if the floor would give out under too much pressure if she wasn’t careful.
She analyzed the dark blue painted room which looked completely relaxing. His unmade bed looked to be king sized and oh so inviting. Pillows flittered on top of the bed and the blankets flown in disarray across the bed and the floor. She actually liked how unmade his bed was, it reinforced the fact that Raiden didn’t have a stick stuck up his ass and was actually a laid back guy.
Raiden opened the door to what looked like a rather large walk in closet and put his things away. She turned to another open door that revealed a bathroom. She returned her attention to the bedroom. Clothes piled up high in a basket labeled ‘Dirty’ next to his medium sized plasma screen with a couple movies in a cubby right under it. Overall the room was again comfortable and boyish.
“Do you like it? You could change it however you like, I just never spent much time in here to care about how it looks. Now that you’re here I wouldn’t mind spending more time in the bedroom.” He grinned cheekily with a mischievous look on his face which made her smile and roll her eyes.
“You’re such a boy.” She shook her head and jumped on his bed giving into her desire to just roll around in it. Now that she felt comfortable she couldn’t help but just let loose. She turned to her stomach and shoved her face into the pillows inhaling; completely pleased she could only pick up on his scent. She grinned and rolled over to face him. “Yes I do like it. I won’t change it for many reasons; one being the fact that it would be too much trouble for me to begin with.” He chuckled and sat down beside her legs.
“Are you trying to tell me that my mate is lazy?” He teased as he placed his hand on her legs. She glared at him playfully.
“No, I’m trying to say that I like your room.” She smiled and stood up, getting unusually close to him. “Another reason not to change it would be the fact that I’ll be too involved with a certain someone to really care about our surroundings.” She walked her fingers up his chest, completely aware of the way they’d dip inside the indents of his muscles. He stared at her hungrily and began to climb on top of her. She bit her lip fighting back a grin.
“Is that so?” He said huskily. “And what would you and that certain someone be doing to keep you so distracted?” He put a leg on either side of her and stared down at her.
“Why, playing checkers of course!” She said sarcastically. He chuckled and went close to the mark on her neck.
“How ‘bout you tell me what you’d really be doing, maybe in detail perhaps just to clear the air.” He whispered in her ear and then began to pull at her ear lobe with his teeth.
“I’ll just show you a little of what I might be doing with that certain someone. I hope you’re a visual learner.” She licked her lips as she continued to trace his muscles. As if hypnotized, Raiden couldn’t make out any words at the feel of her caressing fingers. A deep growl vibrated through him making Raven respond with her own growl.
