Walking to the pack house and being ambushed is not something I want done to me...ever. I mean yes we're gorgeous, but come on, have some dignity, don't start handing out compliments and giving death glares; I just got here. Ella left my side sometime ago and constant stares and whistled were being given to me and it was pissing me off.

Inside, I saw Markus and Damon, leaning against the bar and drinking. When Damon looked over and saw me, it became hard to swallow and I tried my hardest not to stare at him and his tight t-shirt. Asshole. He's an asshole to me and doesn't respect women at all.

"Rowan," Markus asked me and I jumped because I didn't see him come over. "Where's Ella?"

"Oh hello to you too Markus, nice weather." I replied sarcastically. When he just waited and stood there, I rolled my eyes and pointed to the door. "Outside still I think."

He rushed to move pass me and I watched him go, sad, confused bastard. If he just apologize and told Ella why he's so controlling maybe she'll forgive him, but he's too stupid to notice that. All men are.

"Have a thing for Markus?" Damon asked coming up beside me.

"Ew, no rather die." I looked at him and he gave me a sideward glance. "Do you have a thing for him?"

"Are you really asking that stupid question?"

"You didn't deny it so-"

"I don't."

"You hang around him a lot,"

"You hangout with Ella a lot."

"But we're hot," I smirked. "We can get away with it. And if we were, it's would be okay, a lot of societies accept lesbians and not gays."

"I'm not gay."

"If saying that makes you sleep at night, then whatever floats your boat."

"You're overly cocky for someone who is the lowest in the chain of command, and you're angry because you can't accept that."

"No I'm not," I said swiping his drink from his hand. "If I'm talking to you, I need a drink."

"Markus, Ella, me, then you. See, you're a bottom feeder."

"I'm not a bottom feeder." He likes whiskey? Way too strong for anyone's taste, but being a little angry man he is, drinking this makes him fine better. I laughed at my own joke.

"Drunk already? One sip Rowan, can you not handle your liquor."

"I can," I said. "I was remembering something funny,"

"What?"

"About how an angry little boy drinks whiskey to make him feel like a man."

"I am a man."

"Oh do you say that to your reflection in the morning? I know people do that if they have low self of esteem...or they're trying not to be gay."

"Watch it Rowan."

"Hurting your ego in front of people," Suddenly noticing the stares.

"Don't make me."

"Make you what? What will you do to me? Nothing." He gripped my arm tightly and brought his mouth to my ear.

"Stop talking right now," He whispered harshly.

I ripped my arm away and everyone gasped, I snorted and walked away from him, my heels clacking against the floor. I heard him following me and I diverted left and way from the areas of heavily populated people.
