Saturday, 11th September...
After lunch yesterday, Jae Wook went dropped me off at class and as soon as I entered, whispers filled the room. It really is uncomfortable, the whole school just can't get over us. Jae Wook doesn't seem to care as much as I do, he still walks with his head high up, like he always does.
He said he's going to take me somewhere today. I woke up at 6am coz I was too excited. By the time I took a shower and brushed my hair, it was already 8am. Now for the clothes...
UGH! It's killing me. I can't find anything to wear. I've tried on nearly the whole of my closet which is over 25 different outfits.
I looked at Sun Dae's pink Hello Kitty clock sitting on the bedside. 11:30am. Damn.
Jae Wook said 1pm. I don't wanna be late, I could tell he's the type that's gonna chuck a duck at me if I do turn up late.
I continued searching for ages and then found the perfect outfit that I hadn't unpacked from my suitcase. OK. I think I look okay for a first official real date. I spun around in the mirror to check everything looked right. Yep, everything looks good... everything but that bear's head dangling oddly around my neck. My mobile rang.
"Hello?"
"Ready yet?" came Jae Wook's voice.
I looked over at the clock. 12:59pm.
"Yeah."
"I'm outside your house. Come out."
He hung up.
I took one last look in the mirror and dashed down the stairs.
[Jae Wook's POV]
I was leaning against the car when she came out of the gate wearing a white skirt that came just above her knee and a pink singlet. She's lucky it's a hot day in the middle of autumn. Her hair was in two plaits hanging loosely on either side of her shoulder. It made her look even prettier and somewhat sweet... ironic how her personality isn't exactly like that.
And she was wearing that ugly necklace too. She smiled brightly and walked over to me.
"Let's go", I said.
[Yura's POV]
He was dressed in baggy brown cargos and a darker thin material brown hoodie. I thought of my white skirt and pink singlet... we're going to look weird together... I climbed into his Porsche.
"Where are we going?" I asked once he started driving.
"You'll see", came his informing reply.
His phone started vibrating. With the earphones already in his ears, he answered it.
"Hello?"
I heard a girl's voice muffle something to him.
"No. I'm busy remember?" Jae Wook replied.
I listened intently as the voice muffled non-stop back.
"Fine", Jae Wook said.
He hung up and his facial expression was reading 'not good.'
"Who was it?" I asked him.
"Chae Rin", he replied shortly.
I didn't want to know anything more.
The trip was short and 10 minutes later Jae Wook stopped the car. I leaned forward past him to see where we were. He too leaned forward to block my view and covered my eyes with his hand.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Wait. Close your eyes, I'll come around and get you out."
I felt his hands lift off my eyes and I kept them shut tightly. I heard him climb out of the car and a few seconds later he swung my door open. He reached over and undid my seatbelt, then helped me out of the car. I felt for his arm and linked my arm around it.
