2nd week of school - Friday, 27th August...
[Yura's POV]
"Two weeks over already", I sighed.
"You're happy. You don't have to give your parents a test with 67%", sighed Mi Mi.
"That's for maths, Mi Mi. I only do good coz it's is the same in every country. I have to put up with a 56% for a language test. Now that sucks."
The others laughed.
"I'm feeling peer pressure now."
They all laughed even harder.
"What?!"
Tae Hee suppressed her laugh.
"You said 41% for a sex test", she said in English.
If you could imagine a balloon getting bigger and bigger when all of a sudden a tiny little pin deflated it, you have successfully pictured me.
"But... Soo Jin told me that that's how you say 'language'..."
Tae Hee, Da Ni and Mi Mi all turned to face Soo Jin.
"Did you do that?" Da Ni asked.
"Yeah... well... uh... YAH! Who told you to take it seriously?"
I pouted. I really am upset. I knew she did it on purpose and so did the others. Soo Jin, knowing that she hadn't managed to pull it off, decided to walk off. Da Ni put her arm around my shoulders.
"Don't worry. She's just jealous that you're pretty and smart."
"Only in maths", I said with a weak smile.
Suddenly, a silver envelope was underneath my nose. I looked up to see Ki Tae giving it to me.
"Here. It's from Jae Wook", he said.
"What is it?"
"Open it and read it yourself."
Ki Tae is cute...pity he's too b1tchy. I took it. He ran off and jumped onto the bus. I saw him go to sit next to Jae Wook who was sitting in a window seat. I opened the envelope and inside was an invitation to his 18th birthday party. When I continued reading, I found out that it was at a nightclub. I ran to the bus which had started moving. I jogged alongside it next to Jae Wook. He opened the window.
"Yah!! I don't go to nightclubs!"
"People who get invites and don't turn up get punished."
"But we just met! I don't even know you well-"
"TOO BAD!!"
Then he shut the window and I couldn't keep up anymore. The three fairies caught up to me.
"You... you... got an invite to Jae Wook's party?" Mi Mi asked.
I nodded. We were all out of breath.
"Un-fair", Da Ni said.
"We've known him for 3 years now and he's never spoken to me!" Soo Jin said.
"I don't wanna go!" I whinged, stomping my feet.
"You have to Yura. One guy snobbed him last year and didn't turn up for his party. We never saw that guy again you know. No one knows what happened to him. The last person to see him was Jae Wook", Tae Hee said in a timid voice.
"He wouldn't dare", I argued.
They all nodded.
"You'd be bursting his ego if you didn't. I think you're the only junior girl he invited", Tae Hee continued.
