Saturday, 28th August...
[Jae Wook's POV]
When the dance finished, everyone cheered and then got on the dance floor, continuing as usual. I looked at Yura's knees. Her jeans were ripped at her knees and her left one had a thin cut in it. Probably from the sliding.
I saw about 8 guys swarm around her asking her to dance with them.
"I gotta go", she kept saying.
They kept getting closer to her. I walked up to one of them and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and scurried away. I looked at her and swept her off her feet. She started hitting my shoulders.
"Let go of me!"
I didn't. Once we were inside my dad's office I immediately dropped her on the lounge.
"Why don't you just kick those guys' asses like you kick mine almost every time you see me?" I asked her.
"I told you. I only use Taekwondo when I'm getting desperate."
"Tsk."
I went to the desk and opened all the drawers until I found a band-aid. I ripped it open and gave it to her.
"Thanks", she said.
She took the band-aid and then applied it to her knee.
"Damn. I gotta go home now", she said.
"Why? It's only a tiny cut."
"Look at my jeans. I'm not walking around in these."
I glanced at them, she's right. They did look bad. I bent down and tore away the hanging off bits from the jeans so that they were three-quarters now. Her eyes widened again.
"Yah! Omg. What am I gonna do now?!"
"Truthfully, I don't think I did a bad job."
"How could you say that?" she asked in a devastated voice.
Yura stood up. She was right again. It did look odd- like a hobo's pants.
"Uh- you'll last the night."
Yura shot me a glare.
"No. I'm going home. Goodbye and happy birthday."
I held her back.
"No one ditches my parties."
"I came!"
"Yeah. And you don't go until it's over."
"Are you kidding me?"
"No."
I saw the disappointed look on her face. Then she shook her arm free and was about to exit the door anyway. I quickly ran up to her and pushed her down onto the lounge and went out the door, locking it.
[Yura's POV]
What is he doing?!
"Yah! YAH!" I yelled, banging loudly on the door.
I kicked it but it didn't open.
"That's a door made especially so that it can't be kicked open. If you're not gonna stay, I'm gonna have to make you stay in here until my party's over."
"Are you crazy? Why do you need me to stay so much?!"
"Because. I think I like you and can't afford to have you run away to other guys on my birthday."
He's out of his mind. I just know it. Then I heard him laughing.
"I'm not psycho yet. Don't worry", he said from the other side of the door.
