"KWON YURA I'M GOING TO KICK OPEN THIS DOOR IF YOU DON'T COME OUT!" Dong Wook warned from behind the door.

I quickly got my phone out and took a picture of the photo and yanked the door open to face a very grumpy Dong Wook. "Don't you have a key?" I asked.

Dong Wook looked surprised. "Oh yeah..."

I bent my head to the side. "Hmm... you're much less yellow now", I nodded.

Dong Wook scoffed. "What were you doing in there for so long?"

"Taking pictures of your baby photos so I could post them on the Internet", I answered. "Oh, Dong Wook, who are they in the big photo in the middle? Your parents?"

He looked pass me at the photo and grief filled his eyes. "Yeah, but they're dead."

"Oh, I'm sorry", I quickly apologised. Actually... I already knew that. Grandma Shin told me the first time we had met.

"It's OK."

"I have to get home now", I said.

"Sure. Is Tae Hee really coming over?"

I laughed. "No! You idiot that was just a little lie so that I could be here to lie for you."

"Sshhhh!"

Whoops.

So it's confirmed, Dong Wook is the son of my father's best friend and business partner. Funny how I've been living next to him for almost three months without knowing.

8th week of school - Monday, 8th October...

I reached out for the bear's head where I usually left it on the table but instead of feeling the familiar coldness of it, my hand simply touched the raw table. Huh? Where is it? I traced back my memory and realised I didn't even take it off last night. Damn, I must have lost it at Dong Wook's house yesterday. Better get it back before Jae Wook finds out, for now, I think this will do. I grabbed a black scarf and tied it around my neck.

After school I went over to Dong Wook's who seemed surprised that I voluntarily came over.

"What are you doing here?" He whispered behind his grandparents' back.

"Whenever I come over voluntarily it's always beause I want to get something back", I hissed.

We proceeded up the stairs.

"Dong Wook! Your grandma and I are going grocery shopping!"

"OK!" Dong Wook shouted back down the stairs as we heard the door open and shut.

I started searching on the ground around me.

"What are you doing?" Dong Wook asked.

"I think I dropped my necklace here", I replied.

"That ugly bear's head?"

It surprised me that someone else other than me called it that, so my answer was a little delayed. "Yeah."

He crouched down and started helping me search too. Suddenly a thought came to me... yesterday when I was in that room I heard a breaking noise and thought I pulled my hair out, but it was probably my necklace!

"Dong Wook, I think it's in the photo room", I said.

A look of annoyance crossed his face but he said, "Fine. Let's go in then."

We both went in.

"I heard a breaking sound when I was standing here", I stamped on the ground near the door, "so it should be nearby."
