Sunday, 12th September...

"What movie do you want to watch?" I asked Jae Wook.

We were inside the cinemas and trying to decide on a movie. My gaze flickered over to the huge poster stuck on the wall. I heard this movie was bound to be a hit- because it starred Song Hye Kyo and Rain. I think it's like a movie version of Full House. I really wanted to watch it.

Jae Wook's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Anything but that movie", he said pointing to the poster I was staring at.

All hope gone. Then I remembered something I read from an Australian girl's magazine... never make a guy watch a romance at the cinemas. They'll be embarrassed and bored to death.

"How about that one?" he suggested pointing over at the horror movie poster.

"OK", I replied unenthusiastically.

"I'll buy the tickets and you get the food", he said.

"OK. I'll meet you at the stairs."

[Jae Wook's POV]

I waited for her at the stairs. She appeared carrying a gigantic bag of candy, a large popcorn and two large cokes whilst trying to make her way over to me. I went to her and took the popcorn and my drink.

We were sitting exactly in the middle of the cinema. Yura sat down to the right of me.

Man, she really is a strong girl. I purposely chose this movie so that she'd get scared and flinch behind me, or hold onto me. I sneaked a peek at her face. She was watching the movie silently and eating popcorn. I looked closer to see if she was scared at all.

[Yura's POV]

"AARRGGHH!!"

I, and everyone else, focused on Jae Wook. His mouth was opened so widely a bird could fly in it and his eyes were shut tightly. The girl with long hair covering her face has just scared the old man by placing a scrawny hand around his neck and screeched. It was a scary and unexpected scene, but I didn't think it was that scary.

Everyone resumed to watch the movie but I burst out laughing.

"Yah Jae Wook, you're scared of horror movies? Then why did you suggest it?"

"Yah! I'm not scared. I just didn't expect to hear the screaming", he argued.

"You're not supposed to."

"But I wasn't concentrating on the movie."

"Then what were you doing?"

He didn't answer me. Instead, he asked, "Yah, Yura. Aren't you scared of horror movies?"

"No."

He leaned back in his seat in triumph. I ignored him and focused on the movie again.

After the movie had finished, both Jae Wook and I came out looking unhappy.

Me- because I had to watch an unscary horror movie.

Jae Wook- most probably because he was so scared that he became angry.

I nudged him.

"Yah. Stop looking so grumpy. The movie's over. No more scary girl."

"What? Who said I'm scared of her?" he replied defensively.

I gave him a 'are you sure?' look. He sneered at me.

"Let's go for lunch."

"It's too late for lunch now", I said looking at my watch.
