My eyes fluttered open being met with a currently blurry figure. My eyes adjusted to the light focusing on a distant cat. I yawned, pushing myself up.
I padded towards the Medicine Cat's den to ask Jaypaw about the dream I had, that described almost what seemed like Jaypaw.
"Jaypaw?" I creeped into the den to see Jaypaw staring at the the ground, his tail curled tightly around his body.
He lifted his head and sniffed the air, his tail loosening, and lashed once before resting beside him. He turned towards me, his eyes full of hope, and what seemed to be guilt.
" I need to speak with you." I said, trying my hardest not to stumble my words as I spoke.
He nodded, lifting himself up. He flicked his tail to me as he walked to the corner of the den.
"So what is it Y/W/N?" He asked, looking concerned.
"Well, I just wanted to ask about a dream I had....I'm not sure why I had it. I'm not a medicine cat or anything.." I mewed quietly.
He gasped slightly, flicking his tail as he sat down. "Wh-what was it about?" He asked under his breath.
"I thought it had something to do with you...it was talking about a jay's wing...but I don't know about (mysterious adjective) (prefix)..." I meowed.
His eyes seemed to widen at my words, and he took in a deep breath. "Okay, don't freak out please, but I had the same dream..." He stuttered, his tail now nervously lashing.
I looked at him with a concerned look, my eyes locked with his. I started breathing heavily, before clearing my throat.
"W-what does it mean?" I asked, my tail pressed to the ground behind me.
"I...I think it means that we are the prophecy...."
