[DISCONTINUED] I Will Be Your Eyes {A Jayfeather x Reader}

{Chapter Five}

I sighed, remembering the information Spottedleaf had shared with me that night, "For the winds will rise, and the stars will fall, the wing of the jay, will be risen by the (mysterious adjective) (prefix), and they will fly together and uncover the truth."
I sniffed the air lightly, the Sweet/Soft/Spicy/Odd/Unique scent of Y/A/N hitting my nose.

A small smile spread on my face. I flung my way towards her scent only to be met with nobody. I turned my mind swirling.

My eyes searched the distance meeting Jaypaw's. I looked away quickly and breathed in heavily.
'What if what Bluestar was talking about was Jaypaw?'
I shifted my paws as Hollypaw quickly chatted with Lionpaw.
'No...it can't be. It was just a dream.'

Hollypaw dragged me off into the forest for battle training, Brambleclaw tail flicked impatiently.
"Finally! There you are! Heh, I'm not mad though, so are you ready to start training?" He asked.
Brackenfur raised an eyebrow at Hollypaw. His tail flicked to signal her over.
"Today we will be learning how to fight with a partner. By this I mean, two cats will fight against to other cats." He mewed, his gaze shifting to a ruffling bush in the distance.

A stern Ashfur padded into the light, Lionpaw following a smile spreading on his face once spotting us, soon Cloudtail and Cinderpaw padded towards us as well.

"Is everyone ready?"

And so, the training began. Just another boring day in the scorching sun. My eyes burned by the end of the day, from the hundreds of paw swats from Cinderpaw.

I padded my way back to my den, and sighed wearily, before collapsing into a never ending sleep.
