My mind swirled with curiosity. What had that cat meant, 'hunger'? What hunger? And what two? 'The fallen'?
My head seemed to growl in frustration, as the talk of the leaders blurred. I tried to focus my vision, and gazed over at Leopardstar who sat, her gaze stern as Blackstar spoke.
I let out a huff, as the gathering was dismissed, relief crowding my thoughts. I smiled as Jaypaw padded towards me, slipping in next to me, his pelt brushing mine.
I took in a sharp breath, my ears burning with embarrassment. Jaypaw, moved, trying to keep distance, obviously nervous. I let out a sigh, realizing that I was holding my breath.
We padded on towards Thunderclan camp, my legs tiring with each step. We soon reached Thunderclan, and I slipped through the entrance, clawing my way towards the Warrior's den. I glanced once more at Jaypaw, my heart skipped a beat.
I shook my head padding into the den, curling up on my nest, letting fatigue take me over.

I padded across the clearing snagging a F/P (Favorite Prey) from the freshkill pile.
I slumped down under the shade of the Highrock, pawing at my food, before taking a small bite, my stomach growling.
I sighed, pushing away my food, before tossing it towards a small kit who has leapt out of the Nursery. She let out a small breath of air, before dragging it away.
I let out a chuckle, before getting up, a cold breeze washing over me. I sighed, looking towards where the breeze had blown. I raised an eyebrow as a slight whisper arose.
"I'm here." It sounded.
I leapt backwards, turning in all directions, my eyes flicking around.
"You can't ignore the call Y/W/N...I'll always be here..." it growled. My fur bristled as the wind faded. I lashed my tail nervously.
"Who are you?" I mewed quietly.
"You know who I am.......Winter." It hissed, before fading away.
My eyes widened, memories filling my head, though I had never really experienced them.

"Winter! Get back inside now!" Yelled a voice. I turned to see my mother, Thorn yowling from inside our den.
"Okay mama!" I mewed, flailing my paws, skidding back into the warmth of the den.
I purred as my mother licked my head lovingly.
"Don't leave the den unless I say you can." She mewed.
I nodded, Bramble pouncing on top of me.
"Bramble! Get off!" I hissed playfully as he pawed at my belly.
"Rawr! Die beast!" He growled, his tail lashing.
I pawed at his face leaping at him. "Haha! I got you now!" I meowed proudly.
He let out a huff of defeat. "Oh mighty beast, show mercy!" He yelped.
We both burst out giggling as my mother watched from afar, chuckling along to our remarks.
After eating scraps from last night's meal, I wandered outside while my mother and Bramble were asleep.
I stumbled out into the snow covered ground, my eyes searching the tall birch trees.
My eyes met a pair of piercing blue orbs. I tilted my head.
"Hey little one." They growled.
I let out a sniff, before something brown and striped leapt at me. I let out a gasp, the breath being knocked out of me.
I tried to scream, but my voice seemed to fade as life drained from my struggling body. I watched as the cat tore into my body, before dragging me away.

"No, stop...." I whispered, getting light headed.
The dizziness seemed to fade away and the ringing in my head stopped. All was back to normal.
I took in a gulp of air, padding towards Hollyleaf, who tilted her head. "Y/W/N, you okay?" She asked, munching on a plump crow.
"W-what? Oh...yeah...sure I guess..." I mewed, collapsing beside her.
"Are you sure?" She asked worriedly, her gaze meeting mine.
I gave her a weak smile. "Yup!" I tried to sound cheerful, but Hollyleaf was obviously suspicious.
"You should go see Jaypaw or Leafpool. Maybe take some poppy seeds." She suggested, pawing at her food, before giving me a smile.
I nodded, stumbling towards the Medicine Cat's den.
I turned to see Leafpool tilt her head before talking to Jaypaw. She padded towards me.
"Y/W/N, what's wrong?" She asked, worry flooding her voice.
"N-nothing! I'm fine!" I tried to cover my pain filled and suddenly rough, scratchy voice.
"Oh, Y/W/N. With that raspiness to your voice, you obviously aren't doing fine." She sighed, walking towards her selection of herbs. "Lay down. Then chew on these."
She nudged some poppy seeds towards me and I graciously licked them up, after collapsing down on an empty nest. I could see Jaypaw walk towards me, and sit down, before I drifted off into a long lasting sleep.
