[DISCONTINUED] I Will Be Your Eyes {A Jayfeather x Reader}

{ Chapter Twelve }

Hey ya'll! You all asked, and you shall receive! Here you go! Get ready for an intense chapter guys! ^^

I paced around the den, morning light draining in through the entrance. I continued walking, accidentally tripping on Dustpelt's tail. He let out a hiss, narrowing his eyes at me.

" y/w/n lay down or leave!" He growled. He popped his head down again, closing his eyes tightly. I leapt out of the den anxiously. Today, Jaypaw would be given his full name. I was overly excited for the tom, as I ran to the medicine den, stopping before the entrance. I breathed heavily, narrowing my eyes, before stepping in.

"Jaypaw?" I asked quickly, my eyes searching for him.

A small crash sounded and a tired Jaypaw leapt towards me. "Er Hey y/w/n." He mewed. My whiskers twitched in confusion but I smiled anyways.

"I just came to wish you good luck. I look forward to hearing your new name!" I mewed happily. Jaypaw briskly nodded, turning away from me and padding off.

I tilted my head, confusion filling me. 'probably just worried about becoming a full medicine cat I guess...' I thought.

I padded quickly out of the den, and rushed over to meet Lionblaze, who was talking to some other cats. I smiled at him, then nodded towards the medicine cat den. He quickly excused himself and walked towards me.

"Hey y/w/n, what's up?" He asked, shaking his head slightly.

"Jaypaw is acting really weird..." I murmured.

"He's probably just nervous." Lionblaze meowed. I nodded is response. I wanted to believe that. Desperately. I dipped my head respectfully, retreating to go and talk to my mother, which I haven't done in quite some time. I leapt over to greet Brightheart.

" oh hello y/w/n, " she mewed I nuzzled her for a moment before sitting beside her, as we began sharing tongues. We talked for a while, before Brightheart was called on a patrol. I sighed, padding over towards the fresh kill pile. But right as a I was about to grab a vole, a weight came crashing onto me.

I gasped and watched as an unfamiliar cat began attacking me, yowls could be heard from around me. The cat slashed at my face and growled.

" fight you stupid clan cat! Or are you too scared?! " the hissed. I closed my eyes.

" you wanna fight?- " I asked sternly, bringing my face to their's. " let's, FIGHT. " I hissed.

With those words, I brought my back legs up and flung them off of me. I leapt up, scattering away from them, going to help Graystripe and Lionblaze.

I hissed at the cat who was attacking them, swatting at their nose and biting their flank roughly. Graystripe nodded respectfully, before running off.

" go defend the nursery, now! " Lionblaze hissed worriedly. I nodded, running towards the bramble thicket built den. I skidded to a halt, standing beside Frostfur and she smiles great fully. I watched as a black and gray tabby leapt towards us. I nodded towards Frostfur, leaping out at him.

" just give up! " he hissed harshly. I scoffed.

" why? Is it because I'm a clan cat? A she-cat maybe? Or small...? " I growled, a howl of aggression rising in my throat.

" All three actually....! " he replied with a smug look on his face, and I hissed.

He lunged at me, and I quickly dodged the blow, unsheathing my claws and grabbing his tail, him having lost his balance, I took this moment to leap on him and attack. I held his neck down with my paw, one of my claws digging into his face. I raised my paw for the final blow, only to be met by Leafpool crashing into the camp.

" wha- oh StarClan...no... " she cried. I slashed the tom's face, before knocking him with my back leg, knocking him out. I raced towards Leafpool.

" where's Jaypaw?! " I asked confused, and frankly, very worried.

" y/w/n, thank StarClan your here. You have to come with me! " she meowed worriedly. I nodded, following her into the forest, as she ran. I tried to keep up the pace as we neared the moon pool. She came to a stop, the familiar pelt of Jaypaw laying on the ground his nose touched to the water.

" I tried to enter his dream. It didn't work, I figured sense you two were so close, you'd be able to enter his dream. " I became a bit flustered at her words. Maybe it was because I she said we were close, or because I had to enter another cat's dream, or maybe both.

I breathed in, before nodding tensely, dipping my nose to the water. I felt as if I was being dragged in, the world turning upside down ( FREEDOM FOR AMERICA FREEDOM FOR FRANCE!! Soz, had too... x3 ) and I couldn't breath. I felt submerged underwater, but then air penetrated my body, as if I were able to breath again, then I was falling, then I landed.
Clouds.
Stars. Fading.
Nothing. Warmth. Cold.
Somebody. Nobody. Everybody.

I fell to the ground, my head spinning, and my stomach churning. What was happening?! I balanced out my weight, seeing a confused Jaypaw, he was talking to several cats. Bluestar?

' Is that really Bluestar again? ' I thought. The cats turned. Had they heard me? I hadn't spoken, only thought!

' Yes, we can hear your thoughts y/w/n. And it is me again, Bluestar. Why have you come? ' she asked quickly.

Jaypaw turned to me. His eyes widened. Could he see me?

' y/w/n what are you doing here? ' he asked quickly, running over to me. He placed his head on my shoulder quickly, before pulling away. I blinked away the sudden contact and blush, before explaining.

' Leafpool brought me. She said you wouldn't wake up. Camp is being attacked by rouges and apparently your a vital part of winning. ' I meowed quickly.

Bluestar, and a few other cats gathered near us. ' This shouldn't be happening...how did she get in? How is this possible? We made it so no cat could get in! ' a voice spoke. It belonged to that of a dark gray she-cat with a crippled back leg. She looked quite confused.

' we didn't make it for nobody to get in. Only those who Jaypaw didn't truly love. ' A tortoiseshell she who sat down, a glimmer in her amber eyes.

My eyes widened, and my face began to heat up rapidly, I looked down, smiling a bit to myself. Jaypaw stiffened. I chuckled a bit.

Soon everyone was discussing and the StarClan cats began to fade. I nodded respectfully. " so, we get out, we find that Lark cat again, and we beat those rouges! " I meowed ,with my mouth may I add no longer thought, excitedly. He let out a bit of what I assumed was a laugh. Guess he hasn't had much practice...

" yeah. " he sighed. He began fading. Time to wake up. " hey- " he leaned in close. " out of all the things I've seen while in dreams, your by far the thing I want to see more then once. Your very pretty y/w/n..." he smiled, as he faded out. My ears pinned to my head, and I blinked away the shock of that moment. I began to laugh and smile, before closing my eyes, my heart beating crazily.

I can't believe my life right now. What in StarClan just happened?
