[DISCONTINUED] I Will Be Your Eyes {A Jayfeather x Reader}

{Chapter Three}

I heard voices as pain shot through my head, and my body. I hissed in pain, making whoever was with me flinch and whip around towards me.

"Oh. Your awake." They said, thats when I realized that this voice belonged to none other than Jaypaw.

I groaned and lifted my head to look at him. For some reason I found my self tracing my eyes over his soft swirling stripes, and looking at his features. Jaypaw looked back at me, I flipped my ears back in embarassment, my ears burning. Im glad that Jaypaw is blind, so he cant see what a blushing mess I was.

"Oh um, yeah hi...." I whispered, my ears flat against my head.

I watched as Jaypaw sighed, rolling his eyes a bit. He hunched over, and began mixing some type of herb.
My nose scrunched up as he brought it towards me. I stuck out my tounge.

"Egh! Thats gross!" I hissed, as Jaypaw's eyes widned.

For some reason a pang of regret shot through me. My eyes lowered, and I felt as though I should say I was sorry.
I watched as Jaypaw's feet came into my view.
My eyes widened.
Jaypaw had no reaction! Usually he'd have some crazy comback to a comment like that!

■Jaypaw's P.O.V■

I flinched at Y/A/N's responce to my herbs. Something inside seemed to break, almost as though I was being snapped in half, or my heart was breaking. Why would I feel this way? Maybe I ate a bad herb. Or all that search and rescue caused an odd effect on me. After finding her in the woods with Lionpaw, my head and my heart seemed to explode, I felt so bad for her. But she couldn't be the reason, right?
I continued to treat her wounds before turning back to her.

●Readers P.o.v●

I turned to Jaypaw.

"Were you the one who saved me?" I asked, my eyes full of thought and wonder.

Jaypaw's eyes seemed as though they were studying me, however that was physically impossible.  His eyes shot back to the herbs, as he started to sort them out again.

"Yes. Me and Lionpaw." He stated coldly.

My eyes followed his movements.

"Well....um thank you. .." I whispered.

He turned to me and sighed before turning back around getting up.

"Get some rest. You'll be back out training tomorrow." He said

I sighed, and placed my head on my paws.
There is something about him, but I just cant seem to figure out what.

☆Timeskip To Morning☆

I opened my eyes, and was met with Jaypaw.

He looked at me and nodded.

"Well, you can go now." He said.

"Oh, um okay..." I said.

His eyes followed me as I walked out. I leapt out and jumped towards the Freshkill pile. I picked up a vole and made my way to a cool shaded stone, near the elders den.
Cats said hello and nodded to me as they walked by. Not much like any other day. Or at least thats what I thought.

A stressed out looking Cloudtail burst through the Thunderclan entrance.

"SHADOWCLAN'S ATTACKING!!" He yowled.

My eyes narrowed.

"Finally! Somethimg Ive been waiting for!!" I whisper yelled.

Just then five or six cats came bursting in and dove for the closest cats. A broad male made his way towards the nursery.

"Hey! Fleabrain! Over here!" I yowled, leaping onto his back. He bucked me off, but while he wasnt paying attention, I dragged his tail down, and he lost balance. I huffed, and turned around, to see a confused Jaypaw, stuck in the center of all the commotion.

I leapt towards him, seeing a cat about to pounce on him, I gasped and ran faster.

"Jaypaw look out!!" I yowled, before knocking him out of the way, and getting in front of the attacker.

After that it all went black, I was excpecting stars to appear, but nothing happened. Except, something did.

A/N Sorry I left you guys with such a Cliff Hanger! But Ill be sure to get a new chapter up sooner than I did this one, anyways I hope you enjoyed my little Stargazers!
