Chapter 13

(Y/N) POV

"No... It cant be..." I heard Tippi say as I cried more. "We'll be fine. Even if we dont succeed" Dimentio said to me, before I lost him... But why is there only me...when he said "We..." I felt Mario hug me from behind as I tried to calm down.

"I loved him... Both of them.. I loved both of them, Bro bro..." I said between sobs. Its been years since I call Mario "Bro bro." He hugged me tighter as i started to calm down by his comfort.

"..We must grieve for Luigi later. We must stop the Count.." I heard Tippi say as Mario let go of me. I slowly got up and wiped my eyes.

"Yeah.. Let's stop the count. He's destroyed more then he knows." I said as we headed on our way to the count. He's going to pay. I kept saying to myself. I was determined to fight for my brother. Dimentio would've wanted this too since he wanted to stop the count. We went through multiple rooms and battles some enemies that was in the way. We went through a certain door and Tippi stopped.

"I feel... I feel something very, very powerful... Is it..?" Tippi said. I think I know what she feels. In the room you can feel the cold, negativity in the atmosphere.

"The Chaos Heart..." I whispered as Tippi seemed to hear me.

"Yes... The Chaos heart..." She replied, being a bit hesitant. Then, we heard laughter. That awful, awful laughter that I couldn't bare hearing anymore. All three of us looked up to see The Count with Nastasia by him as always.

"I see you've finally come at last! So, you really are the Hero of the light Prognosticus." The Count said as the room echoed a bit.

"Count...Bleck..." I heard Tippi say.

"But you are far too late to stop the Dark Prognosticus and me... Count Bleck All worlds will end soon. Come to grips with that now, for you cannot stop it. I suggest you make yourselves comfortable and enjoy this one, finally spectacle!" The Count announced really proud of himself.

"But... Why?" Tippi questioned.

"Do you really want to destroy everything? Why would you do this?! How...COULD you do this?!" Tippi added in disbelief.

"Count Bleck does not care about any world! They are all meaningless. Better that I destroy them! Better yet, I shall make it as if they never existed at all!" Count Bleck boomed. Dimentio was right... He DID want to destroy these worlds and keep them like that..

"If the worlds have no meaning, was our meeting meaningless as well? Answer me, Blumeire!" Tippi then yelled. The Count... I guess... Blumiere... Tilted his head and his hat down.

"You know the answer, dear Timpani... Count Bleck does not have to tell you... But the hour has grown too late. You should know that by now."

"Blumiere............ My love, Blumiere...Or rather, Count Bleck... The only way to stop this is to defeat you. And that is exactly why Mario and I have come here... To stop this." Tippi said as The Count looked at me.

"Its sad that the old saying is true in your kind. "Family sticks together", such pity." The Count said as anger started to boil inside of me.

"You lied to me! You lied to everyone! You were NEVER going to create a perfect world! We all risked our lives for that wish! Not only you set us up, you took advantage of our loyalty!" I yelled at the count. I looked at Nastasia. I blocked out everything everyone was saying. I kept looking at Nastasia. I couldn't say anything to her.. I just shook my head in disbelief... Disappointed really. She looked down, avoiding eye contact with me.

"Leave me, Nastasia. I will deal with them ALONE." I heard the count say as Nastasia looked at him in shock.

"B-But..." Nastasia shuttered, but the Count cut her off.

"Count Bleck demands it! I will not say it again..."

"...Yeah, right away, Count.." Nastasia said sadly as she teleported away.

"(Y/N), go. We got this... And thank you.." Timpani said as I nodded and ran out the room. I ran to Nastasia's room as fast as I could. I got to Nastasia room and tried to open the door. Locked. I knocked on her door rapidly.

"Nassy please open! We need to talk!" I said as I kept banging on her door. I stopped as she opened the door and wiped her eyes. She was crying..

"What do you want?" Nastasia asked.

"Nastasia, we both dont like what The Count Is doing. I feel you. But we need to work together to stop him. You need to disobey him for once, please! You're the only one I can turn to at the moment! Everyone else is gone! O'Chunk, Mimi, Mr. L, even Dimentio! They're all gone and I can't turn to them! We need to work together! Please.." I begged as I started to tear up. 

"B-But, (Y/N)..."

"There's no time! Nassy, please!" I yelled as I grabbed her shoulders.  I started to fight with my tears.

"K'. Lets go then." Nastasia said as we both ran to the room the count was in. As soon as Nastasia and I found the room, the count was on the floor. Nastasia teleported to the count as I looked at Mario and.... Wait... Bowser.. Princess Peach... And..!

"LUIGI! I yelled out as I ran to him and hugged him tightly.

"(Y-Y/N)!" Luigi yelled as he hugged back. Wait.. If Luigi's alive... That means..

"Luigi! Have you seen Dimentio?! Is he alive?!" I asked anxiously.

"(Y/N)... I found Luigi.. But not Dimentio.. Im sorry.." Princess Peach said as I Looked at her. My mood turned into disbelief. I got my hopes up for nothing... I looked over to see Tippi and the Count talking. I still cant believe they love each other.. But.. What can I say. Im not the one to judge.

"...Knowing that the world you still live in will continue... It gives me peace..." I hears the Count say to Tippi. He still loves her.. And she still loves him. Even after all the things he have done... I... Have no words to this. Its heart touching to see that Blumiere is still in him...

"Count, Look out!" I heard Nastasia yell. I looked to see something hit her and she collapsed on the ground as her glasses flew off.

"Na-Nastasia!" The Count and I yelled in unison.

"Silly assistant! Absorbing my attack to protect him? What an adorably hopeless gesture." A familiar voice said. Wait... Is it? ...Can it be? No... He'll never do that... Can he...?

"I was about to give him the everlasting peace he so desperately wants!" The voice said as it drew closer. My heart skipped a beat. I was shocked to see who appeared....

"D-Dimentio?!"
