Time stops still, as we stare into each others eyes. His deep brown eyes filled with confusion and with our faces inches apart, his breath is on mine. An arm is tight around my back, trapping me on him.
Aaron's cough bring me back to reality or else I'd be lost his eyes
He offers a hand but I huff, getting up on my own.
"Stupid idiot" I snatch the papers out of Micah's hand and smack him
"Ow, ow, ow"
"Sorry darling" He jumps behind Luis. I glance back at Kaden who was smiling and rubbing the back of his neck
I had to admit, his awkwardness was cute
I turn around, walking away but he grabs my wrist. "Rachel," He says my name like the need for oxygen.
"You two know each other?" Luis asks, looking back and forth between us. I had totally forgotten Luis was here. My life nowadays was either Jerk or Awkward.
"Yeah, we're friends" Kaden shuts my mouth. Is no one else seeing this?
"Oh, I was going to introduce you" Luis awkwardly chuckle
"Wait, you two know each other?" Kaden lets me go. Finally, the movement of my wrists was going numb
"Childhood friends" I answer
"Oh, What about Aaron?" Kaden points to the idiot standing behind Luis
"He's a jerk"
"Hey, I'm still here" Aaron Usher appears, using me as a wall as he leaned his arms on my shoulders/
I'm in between three boys
How the fuck did this happen?
Life is just twisted
"So what's going on?" I glance around at the three faces
"We were going Kaden's place after-school" Luis says
"Rachel, you should come" Micah barges in
"Alone with a bunch of boys? No thanks "
"With your friends also. I have to annoy Ava" He grins
"That's my girlfriend" Isaac pushes him
"All more the reason" Micah smirks. I glance at Kaden cold face as he looks down
"Er, sure"
"Room for one more?" Aaron pouts
"NO"

"So you agreed for us to go Kaden's without our permission?" Anna sums up after I finish my long explanation
"Yes?"
"Why? Kaden is a little eccentric" Munni groans
"Just because he had a crush on you, doesn't mean you have to ruin Rachel's love story" Anna pats her head. Munni was short so it worked otherwise that would look weird
"You guys are impossible" Munni laughs, rolling her eyes
"So where does he live?"
"I know, Isaac texted me the address" Ava replies, looking up her phone
"Vache Rd"
"Isn't vache french for cow?"
"Yes"
"Follow me, lost souls. My geography is epic" Ava leads
"Don't you do History?" Anna asks
"So... I know my area" She responds. "It's down Rachel's road and the first left"
"How do you know that?"
"Google Maps"
"Here we are" She stops in front of a house after a while. I stare at the exterior, a perfect little house. Micah opens the door, giving a short tour and then sending us to the basement where the boys are.
It was damp and cold and a single bulb hanging from the ceiling. In the corner, two bikes stood, a little TV opposite to the red sofa. A pool table stood behind the sofa.
"Oh hey guys" Kaden mumbles
"He says hi," Micah says " Kaden has the inability to speak to more than one girl" And everyone looks at me.
What did I do?
"I need a cigarette" Kaden gets up and leaves the basement
"He smokes?" Munni blurts out
"Yeah, William influences him too much and he's got problems" Isaac who is sat in the corner, looks up from his phone. He puts down the can of coke and walks over to the pool table.
"Anyone fancy a game?"
"Sure" Munni and Ava agree, picking up a stick
Anna was busy chatting with Luis so I just sat there awkwardly.
"Don't worry, he'll be back" Micah smirks, falling beside me. A grin is plastered on his face but then again, that's Micah for you
"Why are you telling me this?" I ask
"Because you clearly like him. Before you say anything I'm deadly serious. I see the way you two look at each other and Kaden isn't that weird as he seems. He's got stuff going on"
"Like what?"
"That I can't tell, he'll tell you when he wants to"
"And why would he? We are just friends"
"Tell that to yourself" He wanders off and his words leave me in confusion. Bloody riddles
What did he even mean?
Me and Kaden were friends? Right?
Sure, I avoided him but he wasn't so bad.

A while later, Kaden and Micah returned and someone thought it was a good idea to play Truth or Dare.
"So Micah, truth or dare?" Ava smirks.
Dear lord, she had to make this boy life a misery. They had a love-hate relationship but more hate and no love
"Dare"
"I dare you to give me your phone and let me do whatever I want with it."
"Ugh, fine. Don't check my history though" He hands her the phone as she squeals, scrolling through it.
"Can I have it back now?" He asks, 20 minutes later
"Yeah, I finished long ago. I was just taking mugshot of you which I sent to my phone"
"What did you do?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Bro, you might want to check your Facebook profile picture" Isaac drops to the floor, laughing
"Ava, what did you do?"
"Er... I might have changed the photo to when you were choking on water" She smirks
"You didn't" He groans "And that was only because it was bottled water which you swapped with tapped water"
"Who doesn't drink bottled water?" Ava asks
"Who doesn't drink tap water?" Micah asks
Once their rambling stopped, we continue with the game.
"Munni, I dare you to sing Sheila like a drunken person and send it to your boyfriend" I dare her as she sighs, taking out her phone.
"Done"
"Who's turn now?" Luis asks, looking up from the toy he had in his hand
"Spin the bottle and find out"
He spins the bottle and we all anxiously wait as it landed on Kaden. By now we were all bored and the only person left was Kaden so the moment got quite tense
"Truth or dare?" Isaac ask, breaking the silence
"Dare"
"I dare you to kiss Rachel"
